4-29-14 Iraq News Journal: 8 billion dollars in oil revenues last March.

Oil Ministry announced that the exported quantities of crude oil and the revenue for the month of March, according to the statistical final issued by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company amounted to 74.300000 seventy-four million and three hundred thousand barrels while revenues were 7,507 seven billion five hundred and seven million dollars.

spokesman of the Ministry of Oil Assem Jihad said in a press statement: that the quantities exported and the revenue for the month of March last recorded a decline compared to last February, because of repeated targeting exports through the line of Ceyhan - Kirkuk.

DB- Whatever this is worth is up to all of you who read it. I met in person a man and his brother in Ft Worth who are immigrants from Kurdistan 2 weeks ago. I had no idea where they were from so I asked and they told me.

I then asked them both about the dinar and their immediate response to me was,"do you have some of it". I said yes I do and they responded "you will be a very rich man real soon". "As soon as the elections are over, a few days, and Maliki is gone forever, the RV will happen."

They went on to tell me that he is worse than Saddam, and he will probably be arrested, beaten, killed if he doesn't escape the country. They said that there are so many construction cranes in that part of Iraq that it looks like a jungle. Building high rise hotels, apartment complexes, etc.

Hellfire engulfed the sky and on the heels of the screams the rains came. Black smoke rolled without effort across the ground. As my hands sunk into the grey ashen mud, I lifted my face and sucked in the foul air and looked around at the horror which had come from above.

Sailrat: That is a well written update. I have not heard much about Hakim until these last few weeks. I hope he gets the job done.

BlueyesinLevis: I'm surprised. Hakim and Sadr have been very outspoken about their agenda of getting out from under Maliki. It is Hakim's Bloc.. the Citizen's Bloc that made huge gains in the Mid term elections last year.

They way he has banded tha opposition together is masterful. Excluding Allawi is also a good move.. Allawi and Maliki are peas from the same pod.

-If those mid term elections are any indication.. Maliki has not one prayer.

Hi Everyone,

Today in my southern Bavaria village we are making the final preparations for our annual event called Maibaum or Maypole This event for us happens on weekend Mai 3-4 this year (always on weekend of Pentacost Sunday). I wish all of you fine dinarians could attend and meet all peoples of the village. We could sing and dance together then sit and talk long about the good news about the Iraq revaluation.

But we are so far away.....so I am making this news letter because I must come to you once again and explain some findings about this IQD and recent events.

As I described in last week's news letter I believe we are in the final round of a fight and there is now a countdown. Who is knocked out and now laying down on the mat?

- Interesting that May 1st is the start of the IMF's new fiscal year

- Interesting that April 30th is when the IMF updates the IQD's exchange rates, every single year (except for twice during September).

- Interesting that Kurdistan will start selling oil GLOBALLY starting May 2

- Interesting that the CBI hasn't updated the indicative rates since April 24 (last Thursday)

- Interesting that there have been NO auctions since April 26 (last Saturday)

- Interesting that April 30 will be elections in Iraq

- Interesting that Iraq announced that the budget will be passed right after the elections

As the news of the RI and the associated intel was shared on Monday's call, 4/28/2014, I was fitting it together and doing the math. I kept trying to find a downside and could not. I will share my analysis of the 'call and posts data' in a bit. First my take on the status of things

All during the call, it seemed to me that Tony and DC guy were in extremely good spirits. As well, both were very forthcoming with information, both during their announcing and subsequent dialogue. During the Q&A, their answers didn't seem to be guarded as they have been recently.
