I have a couple of questions - When you say "A reduction in the monetary base of the USD, and all other currencies, will eliminate many of the systemic imbalances which exist today", in your view:
a) How will this "reduction" be conducted? i.e. the mechanics: market or government driven?
b) When you say "monetary base", do you include commercial bank money and revolving credit in this or just the money supply issued by the central bank?
What immediately springs to mind with this if revolving credit is included is card companies immediately reducing credit limits cutting many people off from the liquidity that has been a lifeline for so long. Not necessarily a bad thing of course, but which G20 politician would dare underwrite such a thing!?
I'm wondering what the general population would think of this as such an event would surely make the evening news on the day it occurred...

R.V./GCR April 7, 2015 at 5:02pm so what we hear is this should have gone down yesterday.... what we hear is the rates have been changed on back bank screens.... what we're hearing is in country currency traders are trading at new value rates ....what we're hearing is this could go down at any second ....what we're looking for is the blessing ....you're not going to find this anywhere else ....there is no words ....what you're going to have is a welcome to tomorrow when it gets here.... that's what we're hearing

Khalati: Insert the oil and gas law in the next session of parliament
Special / newspaper integrity / Osama success - confirmed citizen Bloc member Hassan Khalati, that the general budget entirely dependent on oil imports is needed to expedite the enactment of the oil and gas law, which ensures that regulate the relationship between the governments of the center and Iraqi Kurdistan.
Khalati said in a statement (newspaper integrity) that "the next House of Representatives sessions will see the inclusion of oil and gas law on its agenda for the purpose of reading and discussion by the political blocs."

[wileymorgan] Do you know where you dinar is? How many now have sent dinar into some persons claiming they will give you such and such promised rate.
Better yet they are claiming to be a UST approved group with a Paymaster and will provide an SKR (Safe Keeping Receipts) or some variations of that. For too long have promises been made by many with nothing tangible having transpired from them.
The truth of the matter is all these so called people collecting others currencies are providing you is a receipt of what you sent them; nothing more.
Perhaps a bit of truth on a couple things when it comes to SKR's and Paymasters -

Appaloosa: We all have all been disappointed by the turn of events this investment has had. That being said.......it's OK to feel disappointment, Tony feels it, DC feels it, Pam feels it, Ray feels it, and you and I feel it.
But, there is no need to let that disappointment take control of our thoughts.
We all need to keep it in perspective. This RV is in the process, it's happening right in front of us. Don't let the delays, which truly are minor in the grand scheme of things......take control of you.
When you feel disappointed, it's time to remind yourself of all the progress being made and steps being taken to move it forward. It's not time to let the disappointment take hold and cause you to doubt this investment.
Way too much news over the past few months has come out that proves we are right and made the correct decision in investing.

The Executive Order has a lot of different moving parts.
I asked a lot of people to look into the "shut-down" issue of the Internet service in Iraq - and they are telling me it had to do with security and control of information. It's what people are NOT seeing ... but is still working.

Arthur There is absolute ZERO credibility to any unfounded claims that the HCL has been fully implemented. Just in the past 48 hours we see an article stating:
"Deputy for the National Adoption of the oil and gas will set the oil policy in the country"...... also stating "must be to speed up the enactment of the oil and gas law", and that "the next HOR sessions will see the inclusion of oil and gas law (HCL) on the agenda for the purpose of reading and discussion by the political blocs." It also stated that there is "a wide interest by the parliamentary blocs to complete the enactment of this law."
I can confirm by my contacts that this is now being taken very seriously as all concerned are fully aware that nothing can move substantially forward until this is done and that it is in process to be fully implemented in short order.
I can also assure you that the security situation is going according to internal and external planning and, although a very important component to the overall reform package, at this juncture it is not a major impediment to the MR that is currently in process

herefore it is certainly no coincidence that the Gov. of the CBI Alaq is accompanying PM Abadi during the historic visit to the Kurdistan region prompting contractors and other Iraqi contacts to now be on high alert for upcoming payments in revalued IQD.

I couldn't because of time.....I told him I could call tomorrow, but he wants to MEET!! So we're meeting tomorrow afternoon......Have NO IDEA WHY (But he said it was important)!!!!
