Last Monday (From 4-23-15) there was a meeting in Washington hosted by the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF) to discuss the future relationship, if any, of gold with the Special Drawing Rights1 (SDR).
Also on the agenda was the inclusion of the Chinese renminbi, which seems certain to be included in the SDR basket in this year's revision, assuming that the United States doesn't try to block it.
This is not the first time the subject has come up. OMFIF's chairman, Lord Desai wrote a paper about it after the last Washington meeting on gold and the SDR exactly four years ago. The inclusion of the renminbi in the SDR was rejected in 2010 because of inadequate liquidity and is due to be reconsidered this year.

Millionday: Smart card version for displaced families
Rafidain Bank announced the issuance of a smart card for displaced families in all provinces of the country and covered by subsidies from the Ministry of Displacement and Migration.
The media office of the bank said in a statement that the bank issued a smart card for displaced people and based on the information and database for displaced families and received from the ministry,
stressing that the use of the card facilitates the distribution of grants allocated for the displaced through the Rafidain Bank.

Millionday: -Rafidain Bank announced on Saturday the launch of MasterCard exchange service for the salaries of retirees who are outside the country.
The general director of the bank on behalf of Kamal al-Hassani, in a statement received by "public opinion" a copy of it, that "retirees who are outside Iraq, they can become been paid through this service."
Hassani said that "the retired has the right to go to any ATM, to receive the same amount and currency of the country, who is in it."

I JUST GOT A UPDATED REPORT FROM BOOTS ON THE GROUND ADVISER IN IRAQ. HE AND THEY CAN'T BELIEVE THE NEWS TELLING US THAT TOWNS ARE UNDER ISIS CONTROL.
HE SAID YES SOME ARE THERE IN DIFFERENT AREAS BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE CONTROL OF ANY CITY OR TOWNS IN IRAQ.
HE SAYS SEVERAL GROUPS HAVE ATTEMPTED TO TAKE CONTROL OF DIFFERENT AREAS BUT HAVE BEEN DEFEATED AT EVERY ATTEMPT.
ISIS IS NOT HOLDING BACK THE RV IN ANY WAY.

A dinar is a dinar 1, 5, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000. It matters not to me what they print.
Family let be as clear as possible. A dinar is a dinar the value will rise to a rate you will spend or exchange as a dinar. Think it thru.
I spoke a week ago about understanding they use terms loosely and many do not understand. Words can hurt and bend the truth. However numbers don't lie.
The call for international accounting will make the numbers clear to all. Which at that point the true value of dinar to any currency will be known.
It is bigger than any of us. For that matter bigger than USA. It is global.
Values will adjust based on values you seek, which ever one that is. How many dinars on a note doesn't matter if it has a higher value.

China's Yuan May Draw $1 Trillion on Getting IMF Reserve Status

At least $1 trillion of global reserves will switch into Chinese assets if the International Monetary Fund endorses the yuan as a reserve currency this year, according to Standard Chartered Plc and AXA Investment Managers.
People's Bank of China officials have called for the IMF to include the yuan in its reserve basket -- which consists of the dollar, euro, pound and yen -- in a review later this year.

If Iraq is loading these cards in IQD, and a retiree goes to an ATM in the U.S. and USD comes out of the ATM, that is a currency exchange, in my opinion! Which tells me they have to show international investors the new rate soon. (See Article Below)

Transparency Key To Debt Management
HA NOI (VNS) - Tighter controls, improving capital usage and making public debt transparent can ensure domestic and foreign borrowings for development and socio-economic infrastructure, said a senior official of the finance ministry.
Tran Hung Long, director of the Debt Management and External Finance Department of the finance ministry said this yesterday during a press briefing on enhancing public debt management organised by the Ministry of Finance.
He said the ministry needed to clarify on two groups of issues on public debt in a clear and transparent manner.
The first group would include loans, control of the government's public debt and national public debt safety. To control these issues, the government, National Assembly, relevant ministries and agencies have made every effort required to make domestic and foreign loans transparent.

Good morning everyone. I don't post much but thought I would share my experience at the bank yesterday.
Keep in mind prior to yesterday I was told this bank, which is not one of the big 4, would not be exchanging the currencies I hold.
Although I knew they would based on info on various sites. I went to the bank to do some personal business.
At the end of the transactions I said to my personal banker, "I know you are probably tired of me asking, but is there any chance you have seen movement on the dinar?"
