Al-Maliki accused: qualitative development in international justice ..?!

Don't go getting all excited....all they are announcing is the date they will announce the preliminary results of the elections.....like having a meeting to decide to have a meeting.

Sadrist works to "freeze" the security agreement between Baghdad and Washington

The Sadrists it would appear are wanting to put a "freeze" on the security agreement that exists between Baghdad and Washington....the US troops have left the country....but there are still arms and munitions that flow back into the country....

some say that Maliki believed this mounting of tactical armament was also thought to be a deterrence against neighboring countries meddling in Iraqi business....others of course see the equipment as a tool for Maliki to use against certain Iraqi citizens.....

    [millionday] Bey revealed the governor of the Iraqi Central Abdel Basset Turki from near the opening of branches of U.S. banks and the French and Lebanese in Iraq.

Turki said in a special statement (the statement), it will soon be opening branches of U.S. banks, including Pocket Morkn and Citibank, noting that the investment opportunities that would be granted to these banks will not be available in the same way for other banks in Baghdad.

He said the number of Lebanese banks submitted their requests to work in Iraq as the work permit has been granted to three of them as well as requests for French banks.

5/15/14: A Forex trader contact in the US who has 46 years trading history says: Forex currency trades are up by several hundred thousand ordered trades for all currencies changed by the cents not fractions of a cent or pips.

In 46 yrs working in this market, he says the world is changing today.

He advises a normal day trade for any major currency is 50,000 trades, today they averaged 350,000 trades by 10 am central time.

They can not in any shape, form, or fashion, keep up today. They said more money movement by 11am today than in any other full week in the history of the forex.

Oil SDR's and the New Currency Basket By JC Collins

Oil, along with other commodities, will soon be priced in the Special Drawing Right issued by the International Monetary Fund. This was first mentioned back in 1979 in a secret White House memo written by Henry Owen for President Jimmy Carter.

In that memo, it is stated that if oil were to be priced in SDR's then the value of the U.S. dollar would be effected on the exchange markets due to lower demand. Though the price of oil itself would see little change if priced in SDR's. The recommendation at the time was to keep oil priced in dollars.

FRANK26- I would like to take a crack at a date and as to why.

My guess is BEFORE May24th. I have a reason for this.

When I-Team reported that "all was worked out and agreed to", and also stated that "no one faction or group would be able to take credit" (I'm paraphrasing here)... that tells me something.

If that is the case, and I have no reason to doubt it, not only would a newly seated GOI take credit if the IR was released after June 15th; but also, I have no doubt in my mind that, if the election results are announced and then the IR is given AFTER the results are announced, even if the newly elected aren't seated and sworn-in yet, they still could try and claim some sort of influence...whether true or not, it could be a powerful political tool.

Releasing the IR before May 24th (or whenever they choose to spill the beans about the results) completely takes any perceived political leverage off the table. IMHO, YMMV, etc.

    millionday] A crude oil pipeline between Northern Iraq and Turkey was completed late last year, and oil has since been pumped through it into storage tanks at Turkey's Mediterranean port of Ceyhan.

Exports from Ceyhan, however, were on hold to give diplomacy a chance to solve a dispute back then between Baghdad and Arbil over the sale of Kurdish oil to international markets.

Earlier in February, Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister for energy Hussain al-Shahristani had announced that Iraqi Kurdistan agreed to export crude via the country's main oil marketing body Iraq's State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO), potentially removing a major sticking point in a resource row with the central government.

Khalil said in a statement today that "the delay in the announcement of election results by the Independent Commission Ya elections may be related to issues of logistical and technical".

   [millionday] He added that "the duty of the Election Commission, according to the Constitution to maintain the operations of the vote tampering and counterfeiting."

He called on the Commission to "speed up the announcement of results in order to form the next government." And the effects of delay announcement of election results uncertainty and anxiety in vote rigging.

Not long after landing in Vancouver and leaving the airport we came upon a small protest along Granville Street. Vietnamese Canadians held signs demanding that China stop the invasion of their homeland.

There was a lameness about it as no one appeared to care or give it much attention. In fact, there was a level of irritation over the slowing of traffic and blocking of local business.
