It's a lot to ask. The 1.1 per cent global growth of the first quarter was the weakest for an expansion since 1998, according to JPMorgan Chase & Co. Former U.S. Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers's "secular stagnation" warning is gaining traction and central banks are finding more and more reasons to keep monetary policy easy.

The Ups And Downs Of Devaluing The Dong

On May 7 the State Bank of Viet Nam decided to weaken the dong by 1 per cent, reducing its daily reference rate against the US dollar from VND21,458 to VND21,673, the second devaluation this year.
The currency can trade by 1 per cent on either side of the reference rate, which the central bank sets daily.

Maynard57: Hey, folks. Where are we now, one might ask? I don't do intel, or rates. Or dates. But I like what is happening and I am committed to the belief that the monetary reform process is going forward.
That said, always keep in mind: We don't know what we don't know. But there are things we do know, and hopefully we will have more things we do know in the future.
Its not gonna get served up on a silver platter, so just get that idea out of your heads.
I don't KNOW, but I DO speculate, we need some things. As for this 50k, 100k debate, I remain skeptical and we're just gonna have to wait that one out.
With Iraq's persistently expressed fear of counterfeiting, I'm having a tough time myself accepting that such large bills will actually come to pass.

It was never intended for millions of people to be involved in the Re-evaluation of the Iraqi Dinar.
We can thank Maliki for waiting.
Imagine if you will, what Iraq's state of affairs would look like if Maliki's heart was filled with love for his country instead of hatred and revenge.
If you are having trouble visualizing just look at Dr. Abadi. It is very evident by his actions that he is uniting his country and not dividing.
If Maliki had taken similar steps, Iraq would be THE Middle East powerhouse TODAY, I wouldn't be writing this, and........you get the picture.
While Maliki sought to become a dictator a friend told us about this opportunity and we told our friends and they told theirs. So now there are supposed millions of us. That's great for us!

Specialists describe the central bank cut the rate of the dinar to the bitter treatment

A number of experts and specialists in the financial and economic affairs, said the central bank has taken several measures to reduce the federal budget for the 2015 deficit, which exceeded the rate of more than 40%, including reducing the dinar exchange rate against the dollar,
noting during their talk Agency / JD / that the reduction rate of the dinar against the dollar is a cure, but over because it will raise the rates of inflation and reduces the strength of the local currency, while the dollar swung the price will stabilize at 1300 dinars in the coming period.

Lets think about this a few minutes. What if China continues hoarding gold ( a currency) and hedges an agreement to buy US Treasury dollars, only if the US will continue to sell China their gold?
Would this make sense/cent$ ?
China continues to be #1 in Gold: buying, mining, holding.
Russia, China, India, Australia are in the first lined up boxcars with China.

New BRICS Bank Readies Its Portfolio

Remember when the BRICS were gathering to discuss the creation of a new world development bank? Word on the street (not Wall Street, by the way) was that this was the end of dollar hegemony and a bite out of the power of the World Bank.
Well, the so-called BRICS Bank says it will be ready for action by year's end and will be naming its first investments no later than the first quarter of 2016.
No need to fear, dear dollar; the loans are going to be in greenbacks. At least that was the original idea when the New Development Bank was created last year in Brazil.
