Hunter says: May 13, 2014 at 3:33 pm Green Lantern's suggestion to keep gold in mind for the future causes me to to ask you (Tony) a tangential question that has been nagging at me regarding gold.

I understand that gold has been the basis for the funding of a large portion of the WGS release and the asset backed currencies.

Gold has been moving geographical locations quite a bit over the last year or so as countries have attempted to accumulate gold reserves and citizens of various countries (especially Asian countries) have been purchasing gold.

Yet the price of gold has decreased substantially over the last year and a half and (more to the point) what I perceive to be fairly constant buying pressure over particularly the last 6 months or so has not resulted in a substantial increase in gold prices.

[MarkZ] I have missed everyone at the castle. I have even missed Digs who keeps us all honest. :) It has been a tough month for me losing a dear friend and we finally spread his ashes yesterday. Now I am back in the saddle, even if I am a bit behind. Bear with me before too many questions start rolling....

We have news from the sand pile that they are indeed ready to exchange and we have an unconfirmed report that the Kurdistan region started yesterday. Now with that said......

[MarkZ] We are not 100% sure where we are! We know we are close and I have confirmed that some of our chinese connections were indeed unhappy with Lew's preposed speach.

-The last couple of articles are such a breath of fresh air after the political soap drama has been brought to the forefront once again with all the hoopla surrounding the election process.

-Rec Veh made a statement before he posted one of his articles. A statement we are all too familiar with but it is a good reminder. Not sure this was his exact words but I think I am close when he said "LOVE THE BIG PICTURE STUFF" hope I didn't misquote him.

-Iraq is well aware of the millions of dollars they are losing each and everyday. Try and not let their twist on the articles pull you down. Remember they want to paint over and divert your attention away from what they are really doing.

We've all heard investing in the dinar is a scam:

If there is a scam going on, it is the dream stealers trying to rob you of hope. In actuality, they are missing out on the blessings that come with dream building with one's spouse. That alone is very rewarding, and very telling, into how well two soulmates are really thinking on the same page.

If there is a scam going on, it's the US govt, Iragi govt and UN holding back info ... delaying ... the invitable. But post RI you'll be praised for your insite into this investment by the nay-sayers. (Hindsite investors).

You want an example of a scam? Play the lottery. The odds of winning are astronomically against you. That scam plays on the hopes of the un-informed, or desperate, seeking great rewards without understanding the odds. Governments make unimaginable dollars preying on lottery ticket buyers. Whereas investing in the dinar, we can attempt to track international politics and become somewhat educated on our investment.

Hi Everyone,

As the warmer days appear here in the mountains we begin to see many more tourists flock in to this beautiful Alpine region. Meine Kinder too are talking about plans for the sommer already. Leaves are on the trees and the spring flowers have bloomed. It won't be long before we are all occupied with the tasks of the new season to come.

Today I come to you to give you a brief update on the news I am hearing about the Iraq dinar revaluation process.

I have tried to tie some of the other global events to the revaluation process and the reasons for the constant stalling of the final rollout by the USA. They are all related. Nothing happens in the world by coincidence. I believe that by putting the pieces of the puzzle together we can truly begin to understand what is really going on.

RR7: You're welcome. My guess is it means they have reduced the amount of physical currency (M0) in circulation by 10T dinar. I speculate that if you reduce the physical currency on the street, you either need to replace it (with Lower Denoms?) or recalculate the value of the currency. Or do both.

[millionday] ok here we go -- Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki won the most seats in Iraq's elections but fell short of a majority on Monday, leaving him in the driver's seat to retain his post despite vocal opposition.

The results from the election commission showed Maliki's State of Law alliance garnered 92 out of 328 parliamentary seats, with the incumbent himself winning more than 721,000 personal votes. Both were by far the highest such figures from the April 30 election.

But he still fell short of a majority, meaning he will have to win the support of rivals from across the communal spectrum, some of whom have sharply criticized Maliki and refused to countenance his bid for a third term in office.
