Enorrste on the 50,000 notes: {Emailed To Dinar Recaps}
I did some calculations based upon the chart that has been presented in several threads showing the breakdown of the Iraqi currency.
This analysis is somewhat technical in that it has a lot of numbers, but it shows, in summary, that the stated goal of the CBI can be reached easily, on the one hand, and that it will not take more than the removal of ? of the 25000 dinar notes, on the other.
It also shows, based on my analysis, that the CBI number of 4 billion pieces of paper in circulation is incorrect.
Based upon the chart shown in this thread I have come up with the following:

beth Millionday: So let me get this straight if you will. Prior to the sanctions they did not use 3 zero notes, then the sanctions happened and the 3 zero notes came to be used. And now they will go back to using the NON 3 zero notes again. Is this right or wrong?

VIETNAM: Samsung begins work on $1.4b complex in City
HCM CITY (VNS) - Samsung Electronics broke ground for its consumer electronics complex at the Sai Gon Hi-tech Park in HCM City's District 9 yesterday.
In the first stage, the Samsung Consumer Electronics HCM City Complex (SEHC) is scheduled to become operational in the second quarter of next year.
It will focus on research and development and manufacture of sophisticated television sets like SUHD and Smart and LED TVs

QUESTION: Just a couple of technical questions about the fight in Ramadi. You - do you have an estimate about how many fighters - ISIS fighters were in Ramadi? How many ISF fighters fled?
And when they fled, did they lay down these weapons that you said were flooded into Ramadi, did they leave them behind? There've been some images of that. And then my second question would be: Is there a clear military strategy to retake Ramadi?
SENIOR STATE DEPARTMENT OFFICIAL: So really good questions. I would be very hesitant to say a number of Daesh fighters in Ramadi and also I'd be hesitant if anyone is telling you a number, because it's very hard to tell these things.
When Mosul fell, I think our estimate was that Daesh as an organization had only about 5- to 10,000. We then adjusted that and said, no, it's actually 30,000. These are very hard to tell. So we don't know.

SENIOR STATE DEPARTMENT OFFICIAL: I thought I'd just go through an opening briefing. I want to talk about Ramadi, what happened in Ramadi. I want to talk about the Iraqi security response, the political response, and what we're seeing from the coalition and the response.
First on Ramadi, I think it's important to remember that ISIL first moved in to Ramadi in force on January 1st, 2014, so that was six months before Mosul. The city has been contested for 18 months. Half the city had been under control of ISIL for some time.

Don't worry about that Mr. Investor... Coming soon will be the investment laws that will describe obligations of the parties... We will tell you all about it AFTER you deposit your funds in Iraq and are neck deep into it!
They need the INVESTMENT LAW first! And then they immediately need to update with monetary reform.
This all ties together...to change values in the middle of the game will have an effect on some and result in an influx of complaints...
Bad news amongst investors spreads fast...Iraq cannot afford bad press from investors at start up!

The news is telling us that because of the terrorists in Ramadi and Anbar, the Sunnis and Shiites are finally coming together and because D.C. is requiring Iraq to pass the National Guard Act, the Iraqi Parliament completed its second reading of the law yesterday! Yay! It's motivation was that the military needs weapons and D.C. would not give any more weapons until the National Guard Act is passed. That brings ALL fighting forces in Iraq under one chain of command and makes the Iraqi government fully accountable to the United States for these weapons. Here is the big deal about that:
The National Guard Act indirectly implements Article 140 pertaining to the Kurdish territories (disputed territories) in Kirkuk primarly. This nearly resolves that long standing problem, more unity! We get two prizes for one effort. (it also brings together the Sunnis and Shiites)
The Parliament is close to passing the Federal Court Act as well. This is needed before the government can release Sunni prisoners who were wrongly imprisoned over the last eight years (about 120,000). The passing of the Federal Court Act paves the way to pass the Amnesty Law, Accountability & Justice and the De-Baathification Law.
