Vietnam Devalues Dong for Second Time in 2015 to Aid Exports

The State Bank of Vietnam devalued the dong for the second time this year in a bid to maintain export competitiveness and accelerate economic growth.
The central bank weakened its reference rate 1 percent to 21,673 dong a dollar, effective Thursday, it said in a statement. The Vietnamese currency is allowed to trade as much as 1 percent either side of the fixing.
The dong fell 0.1 percent to 21,673 as of 3:27 p.m. in Hanoi, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

'US will try to set roadblocks on yuan's path to get reserve currency status'

The US is unhappy with Beijing challenging it in regard to the reserve STATUS of the dollar as China's economy is growing and the yuan is becoming more attractive for other nations to hold, Robert Wenzel publisher of Economic Policy Journal.com told RT.
The IMF is debating whether to make China's yuan a new reserve currency, ACCORDING to the Financial Times. If Beijing is included in the Special Drawing Rights (SDR) basket it will have better access to capital, it will be easier to take out loans, and China's political influence will be expended.

President Lungu opens Zimbabwe International Trade Fair
President Edgar Lungu says Zambia exported goods and services into Zimbabwe exceeded US$1.3 billion in a period of four years while imports from Zimbabwe into Zambia over the same period were above US$486 million in terms of trade and investments.
Opening the 56th Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) in Bulawayo dubbed, "stimulating trade, seizing opportunities to accelerate growth," President Lungu said relations between the two countries have strengthened from 2010 to 2014.

[Oil and Gas Law]
So out pops another good article this week about HCL. Remember I told you that Iraq must distribute the funds now to the citizens now that the HCL law is all done, and I mean DONE !
There are many parts to the law and one of the parts the USA needs to see is the distribution of the excess oil revenues to the citizens. Sure the Kurds go their 17% but was any of it distributed to the people as of yet.
This is very important and is another part of fully implementing their constitution. So this week we see another article now from Kurdistan telling they are working on legislation through their government on how to do this allocation and how they plan to legislate other parts of the HCL in their provinces.

Hello Everyone,
Spring is in full bloom in Bavaria. We are gearing up for the onslaught of tourists that come each summer to our region. I can't say I blame them for it is one of the nicest places on the planet.
Yesterday my daughters and I went for one of our wonderful long walks. We hiked up our favorite mountain trail. There we witnessed many wonders of springtime in the Alpine meadows as we sat, felt the cool mountain breezes, ate our picnic lunch and overlooked the village below.
The news is just pouring out of Iraq and it is all good and much in our favor that something is brewing in this RV saga. Yes - it is heating up. I am very excited! You should be too..
