Now, I suppose the dinar could rise in value over time as I do believe still, and these comments about the "scam" is toward an overnight RV where we all get rich.
This obviously is an outright lie created to get us to buy dinar and keep buying it believing we will miss out if we dont. I'm not giving up as its money spent already, but there is no way to spin this and imply there will be an RV. These comments were made inside sterling between employees and owners.
Its also part of a federal indictment, its not smoke or PTB weaving a tale to keep us in the dark or blinded to a "soon" RV. I'm still hopefull that one day we can make some money off of this thing, but to me this is a major blow to any substantial wealth being gained from it.

I was in Well Fargo on the east coast transacting some business when i just casually asked the bank representative to give the rates for the following currencies we are waiting for to be revalued.
Immediately I was told that the IQD and Zim were not currencies that the bank deals with however, the Dong and Indonesian were accepted for exchange. Being taken in the back office, the representative was very nice and showed me the rate for the Dong as .47 (on the screen) and I said I wanted to exchange what I had.

[wileymorgan] Secondly - no formal announcement for anyone of authority from WF has come forth and stated they will not be doing any exchanges for the dinar
[wileymorgan] This goes back to comments I made yesterday - that depending on who you call and any specific entity - banking or governmental; you can ask the same question on any given day and get completely different answers from the same people you have asked previously

The central bank back on its earlier decision to deny an auction of 14 banks currency terms
Earlier this week we saw the CBI take action against 14 banks within Iraq where they withdrew their ability to participate in the currency auction....well today that decision was rescinded or turned around by the CBI.....
Not without consequences it sounds like....each of the 14 were made aware the CBI would be monitoring the actions of the bank closely through some traceable means available to them.....the CBI wants the banks who are involved in the currency auctions to be seen as clean and above board in their currency transactions....no smuggling....no corruption....

Q: BackDoc, what is your opinion of larger countries (like the Euro zone) ... what could they (treasury people) have possibly talked about during past meetings? Do you think that other currencies could already be printed and sitting in the wings ready to go?
BACKDOC - yes ... I think that is possible. I'm sure they have contingency plans in place. They're just waiting for the right timing of who to blame.
PIF - true! Remember ... it's not the physical currency. Digitally - it just switches. It's what backs-it that is real and that changes the value of a currency that is in the basket. 30,000 tons of gold ... really ... that's no gold at all. That's like going down a rabbit hole where a trap is set at both ends.
Q: What about smaller countries ... could they participate (put in a basket) even though they may not be fully ready yet? Maybe they don't have their "true value" yet. Could that happen so they can't be taken advantage of just because they're not up to speed?

URGENT FROM FRANK ... *** *** Greetings KTFA Family ...
I wish to address an alarming situation that I'm receiving many phone call on here on the island of Oahu.
I am concerned ... there is a group of individuals that are communicating with currency holders and they are using basically a scare tactic that is telling people that if they do not get their currency to them as quickly as possible ... (example: this coming Friday) ... that they will lose the opportunity to exchange that currency.
They are saying and using the excuse that our President will not allow us to exchange any currency, nor will he allow us to take any currency over to another country abroad and deposit it into any institution over there.

Why the West should welcome Chinese yuan's inclusion into the SDR
The International Monetary Fund is now conducting a review to consider including the RMB in the basket of Special Drawing Right (SDR) currencies and will make a final decision at the end of the year.
At issue for the review is whether the RMB is a 'freely or widely used currency' in trade and financial transactions. Since the last SDR review in 2010, the IMF has been contemplating an explicit criterion-based approach in determining a currency's eligibility for the SDR basket.
In particular, the focus seems to have shifted to whether a currency can perform as a reserve asset currency. Indicators such as foreign exchange turnover, availability of interest rate instruments, and derivative products for hedging central bank reserves have become important variables for this year's assessment.

BGG ~ After reading some of this "Amended Complaint" I simply cannot believe it. We have (privately) long speculated something like this was going on, I even predicted this kind of action by the government going back over a year.
I am still stunned at the depths of their LUNACY. I am mortified on behalf of consumers. However, I stop far short of calling the Iraqi Dinar "a scam".
There will be all manner of attempts to "connect" the currency (or investment) itself to the sphere of misdeeds perpetrated by these particular business people. The two are completely separate. One is the currency of a country - the other are crooked business persons.
