(Thank you BGG for emailing this to Dinar Recaps.)

BGG ~ Ok - so stop and think about this for a sec...

Iraq's 2015 Budget was roughly 119 Trillion IQD...

Today is June 13th 2015 - almost EXACTLY half way thru the year...

The other day they went public with their "true deficit" as 30% the budget... (of 119 Trillion IQD) - in other words more like 40+ Trillion IQD (roughly all of their currency in circulation is their deficit - JUST THIS YEAR - or 40 Billion USD).

I have been saying this - right?? The deficit was waaaaaaay more than 25 Trillion (IQD)
So 50% of their budget and remaining year is likely GONE...

Surely they have spent the full budget allocation during the first half of the year...

So they probably have only 20% of their budget left (of 119T IQD) to cover 50% of the remaining year...

KTFA:

Carolyn:  Frank, You said months ago that Dr. S wanted to talk soon
I think this whole thing about a new Govener of CBI is to put our Dr S back at the front and center as the authority.

(Not the man M made him out to be) so he can have the honor of raising the rate deleting the Z and making his country happy and proud......

What do you think ?      Carolyn

Frank26:   It is good to have You on our side of logic Friend.   KTFA    Frank

In lieu of doing a recorded call, I wanted to chronicle pertinent events that have occurred in Iraq since our announced break which coincides with their legislative break/Ramadan.

My belief then and now is that Iraq must complete the formation of their government by including the three prominent sects Sunni, Shiite and Kurd.

As I type the head of the House of Representatives,  Jubouri, is on his way or has arrived in New York for a meeting with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon where the two will discuss the UN Member States continued support in capacity of Security and Humanitarian relief for the displaced citizens.  Days before he was meeting with the US President, Senators and the US Secretary of Defense, Asthon Carter.  Jubouri informed the US that any delay in arming Sunni fighters will advantage Daesh as the West (Sunni Territory) believes their government has yet to show allegiance by inaction and continued marginalization.

Their position is that words are pointless if not translated into action. Should Abadi and his Shiite led government continue to breach agreements arrived at the time of his government's inception there is no tangible difference between he and his government and the perfunctoriness of Maliki's.

The Three Books You Must Read if You Want to Argue About Gold

Gold: If you're going to argue about it, you should at least understand it

by Tom Keene

June 11, 2015 - 8:10 AM EDT

Here are three precious books on gold.

One is a classic; another the great one-volume read; and the other, a controversial effort on the emotion and fear that often drives the price of precious metals and certainly drives perpetual interest in gold.

I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR DEALINGS.

I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR LOANS, THEIR POLITICS ETC UNLESS IT EFFECTS MY POCKET BOOK AND POSSIBLE RATE OF EXCHANGE OF MY DINAR.

BOTTOM LINE IS THEY NEED $$$$$$$$$ AND MORE THAN THEY CAN BORROW
UNLESS THEY HAVE AN APPROVED CREDIT RATING AND VALUED CURRENCY.

IT SHOULD BE OBVIOUS TO ALL OF US THEY ARE AT A PANIC STAGE.

ABADI WORKING DAY AND NIGHT ALONG WITH MANY KEY LEADERS TO GET TO THE POSITION OF FULLY FUNDING THEIR BUDGET AND MOVING THE COUNTRY FORWARD WITHOUT GOING BACKWARDS.

DR SHABIBI STATED THEY NEEDED A MEDIAN RATE THAT THEY COULD MAINTAIN AND STILL GROW THEIR ECONOMY FOR 24 TO 36 MONTHS.

NOTHING NEW HAS BEEN SAID FROM CBI LEADERS TO CHANGE THAT.

The 4 Most Important Money Issues That Determine Your Financial Health

By Eric McWhinnie

We often hear that Americans need to save more money or plan better for retirement, but what does it mean to be financially healthy?

Personal finance can be a difficult subject to discuss since everybody's financial situation is different - hence the word "personal." However, new research shows that there is just a handful of elements needed to establish your financial well-being.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) recently polled people across the country to hear what they had to say about financial well-being.

While savings and income levels play a significant part, they are not always the most important elements. In short, financial well-being can be defined as a state of being wherein a person can fully meet current and ongoing financial obligations, can feel secure in their financial future, and is able to make choices that allow enjoyment of life.

Central bank: borrowing from the IMF will achieve the required targets Iraq

The governor of the CBI is speaking out today with regard to the pending potential loan from the IMF for $833 million dollars, stating this will aid supporting the budget as well as reducing the deficit.....well yes to both....certainly such an amount would help the budget and potentially reduce the deficit "some".....but not significantly IMO....

What it can perhaps do on a more positive note is improve Iraq's credit standing and allow them a higher credit rating.....this having merit when you rethink the international bonds they are trying to move and need as good a credit rating as possible to make them look as lucrative to investors as possible.....one scratch leads to another.....building confidence in Iraq on a global level.

The Cheat Sheet took some time to speak with top experts in the field of personal finance about the impact of good and bad financial advice.
