It is on track to become OPEC's second-largest producer in the coming year, surpassing Iran and trailing only Saudi Arabia.

6/18/12 Duckyboy: What I see in the news is pathetic. Maliki is still in power and won't be kicked out (IMO). People are being killed in Iraq by bombs. The GOI is not seated. Erbil is not implemented. Are we close to an RV??? According to most gurus, we are, but it's not the first time they have pumped us up.

The truth is that there are many issues out there that MAY point to an RV and there are MANY issues out there that point to that facts that there are economic problems all over the world that need to be resolved, starting with Greece and Spain.

Are "Green" Assets Another Puzzle Piece? -  Historian GET Forum

Hello Everyone!   Are "green" assets another puzzle piece? - June 18/2012

Here are extracts from another Associated Press article that looks at a shift towards valuing "green" assets. The article notes that the world is on track to having "green" accounting within 10 to 15 years. If this is part of the new global financial model, then we are indeed looking at a very different financial model - and way of life.

Associated Press | June 18, 2012, 10:24 AM EDT | Environmental accounting aims to assign dollar value to nature's bounty |

"Putting a price on a natural bounty long taken for granted as free may sound impossible.... But after three decades on the fringes of serious policymaking, the idea is gaining traction... traditional measures of economic progress like GDP are criticized for ignoring downsides like pollution or diminishment of resources such as fresh water or fossil fuels...."

DO NOT CALL ANY BANK PLEASE

[OKIE OIL MAN] Posted with the help of the grass roots Exchange Code team Last week was a rumor roller coaster but Sunday was the granddaddy! Please all dinarians remember some very simple fact:

Straight Talkin Mike's Transcription of the Recap of Tonight's News
(Listen to the recording for all of the detailed analysis of the articles discussed after each news article listed  - the following is just Straight Talkin Mikes recap of the news discussed)

Highlights from several of the CBI/Economy News

"Rapporteur of the Committee of Economy: Changing the form of currency is necessary to reduce the money supply and does not require a new law"
Another article telling us they have everything they need from the Parliament to do what they want to do
We consistently see these articles telling us this over and over..It makes it pretty evident that they have a plan and they know what they are doing

I just wanted to reiterate this tonight because last call we had lots of callers confused with one article put out that they read in the community that indicated a LOP....We do not believe in the LOP....and have information on our website on this topic.
We stick to what we know-....We know this is what they are telling us as stated over and over again.....Stick to what you believe...don't change your opinion on one article or someone elses opinion -
We just believe in what they are going to do..thats why we are here - If we believed differently we would not be here doing calls
It makes it pretty evident they have a plan...they know what they are doing - just because it is written doesn't make it so and just because someone in the community thinks it is so doesn't make it so - If we all agree on one article...it is not going to make the RV happen any faster...it just means we agree - We don't have any magical powers.....we read the news and bring you our opinion - We are consistent in what we believe...what we think and what we say

SWFloridaGuy Update - Post By Leo GET Forum

6-17-2012 SWFloridaGuy: Iraqi Parliament has their work cut out for them when they reconvene on Thursday.  Their procrastination up to this point on key issues has led the country into further turmoil at the expense of the citizens.

The upcoming legislative term will address a multitude of pending laws scheduled for adoption including the HCL, Amnesty Law, Federal Court, Inspectors General, Ministers and the Judicial Council. If Iraq is to progress as a leader in the region both economically and politically, there must be a collaborative effort by the main blocs to enact the obligatory laws that will ensure the success of the next phase of the CBI's currency reforms.

Combined with the threats of no-confidence and interrogation proceedings, I'd say on a legislative level, this an extremely exigent time for Iraq.  It's time for action, no more talk.

Freebird Says "Stay Grounded" - Post By Leo GET Forum

6-17-2012 Freebird: Those of us who aren't newbies, are experienced enough to ignore they hypers who post for adulation.  There is obviously no rate change yet, the banks are not expecting it minute to minute, the IQD is not the world savior and not part of some prosperity package conspiracy.  It's Iraq's currency and the CBI will raise the rate as they see fit.

They already have approval from the World Bank, IMF and the Finance Committee. As Shabibi has previously stated the factors to watch are inflation and stabilitiy.  Well, inflation is on the rise but there is a ton of instability.  Until we see HCL, Erbil, Ministers and announcement of the Strategic Council, the CBI will not make it's move.

Ignore the hypers who clearly don't have a grasp on reality and seem to get pleasure out of providing false hope.  Tariffs are coming up at the end of the month.  September has also been referenced for almost a year now as a possible introduction time for the new currency. So, keep the faith the investment is solid but stay grounded.

Chatter in Dinarland Sunday Night

[wango1] Soonerpatriot - As we approach this RV we have tons of positives today that this is on the cusp of coming to fruition.

[wango1] Soonerpatriot - These positives are supported by strong intel such as banks manning call centers, certain IT initiatives that needed to be completed and are, plus a host of other initiatives that needed completion and now are done.

[wango1] Soonerpatriot - The RV is done. It is out of our hands and we have no influence on the rate, the time, or whether whales have cashed out before us. We also have no control over the Greek vote, or whether it impacts upon the European Union.

[wango1] Soonerpatriot - All this has minimal impact upon the RV before us and we have no control over it even if it does impact in some way.

Historian Update - Post From GET Forum

Historian - Messaging may say "It Failed" before "Global Reset" - June 17/2012

Hello Everyone!

Here is an extract from an Associated Press article that is significant for the RV and "global reset". Mainstream media declares that key portions of the current financial model do not work at the design level.

This article comments on the Eurozone model in light of the Greek crisis. The key words are in the 3rd paragraph from the end of the article: "all the design flaws are becoming apparent."

Associated Press | June 16, 2012, 9:58 AM EDT | How shock waves will hit US if Greece drops euro | NEW YORK (AP)  ..... "Putting 17 countries together to share a common currency worked well when Europe prospered.

Enorrste Explains - Post By Leo GET Forum

6-17-2012 Enorrste (Part 1): You may recall that Abdul Hussein Anbuge was one of those interviewed in the now infamous LOP article that we took apart a few days ago. This article falls in line with that article but is now limited to the one person only.

He offers 10 reasons why, in his opinion, the "remove the three zeros" project should be indefinitely tabled.  Unfortunately none of his reasons deals accurately with the situation. His first "reason" is a simple matter of opinion:  aren't there enough other things to worry about in Iraq that changing the currency?

Of course since he doesn't understand the process, even though it has been adequately explained by the CBI, he goes on to provide other "reasons" why this is such a bad idea, all of which are based on a false premise.  The simple fact is that the plan has been in place for over 5 years, and is a major element in the overall recovery plan for Iraq. So the answer to this question is an unqualified YES!

Doc Update Comments - Post  By Leo GET Forum

6-17-2012 Doc: We have seen a flurry of wrong information posted on many sites this past week.  First, the discussion on Iraq/Kuwait and chapter 7 by the UNSC is scheduled for Tuesday, June 19 and not yesterday (Friday) as many reported.

Friday was simply the date to get the reports to the UNSC for review.  Unfortunately the initial reaction to the report is not as favorable as we would have hoped.  It was reported that Ban Ki-moon "expressed regret yesterday for lack of tangible progress in the issue of missing Kuwaitis and Kuwaiti property in Iraq."

And it was further reported that the report recommended that the international coordinator be funded through the end of the year.  While we will obviously wait and see what happens Tuesday our hopes of chapter 7 release are somewhat diminished.  This initial response to the report was less than a glowing review.

Intel4U FOOTFORWARD 6/17/12 12:30AM EDT
[footforward] OK SOMETHING I HAVE TO ADDRESS BECAUSE I GET PEOPLE ASKING ME ABOUT THIS ALL DAY. SO ODDS ARE OTHERS ARE ASKING THE SAME QUESTION....

FIRST OFF ITS A 100% ACCURATE FACT THAT CH 7 CAN NOT BE REMOVED WITHOUT AN RV....SO THAT MEANS ITS IMPOSSIBLE FOR US TO BE WAITING ON CH7 REMOVAL FOR THE SECOND TIME.

THERE IS THIS THINKING THAT FOR SOME REASON IRAQ WANTS TO BE IN CH7. YET WHEN I ASK WHY ON EARTH THEY WOULD WANT THAT, NO ONE SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO GIVE ME A GOOD REASON. WHY? THERE ISN'T ONE. IRAQ WANTS OUT OF CH 7 DESPERATELY.  SO THAT ALONE SHOULD POINT OUT THIS ISN'T IN IRAQ'S HANDS. IRAQ IS NOT IN CONTROL.....NEVER HAS BEEN - NEVER WILL BE.
