VIETNAM: Bank Stocks Prop Up VN-Index

Bank stocks led the uptrend as most of this group saw strong development, including Vietcombank (VCB), BIDV (BID), Military Bank (MBB), Eximbank (EIB), as well as Vietinbank (CTG) and Sacombank (STB), with rises between 1 per cent and 5.5 per cent. - Photo cafef

HA NOI (VNS) - Profit-taking pressure increased in yesterday's afternoon session, but growth of large-cap stocks continued to prop up the market.

On the HCM Stock Exchange, the benchmark VN-Index edged up 0.95 per cent to close the session at 574.98 points, while the VN30, which tracks the top 30 shares by market value and liquidity, expanded 0.73 per cent to end 593.61 points.

Cabinet defers implementation of the new customs tariff

They are putting the customs tariff off for at least six months....tells me they are closer to ending their financial woes than maybe most might think.....this was to be a major source of revenue for them out side of oil.....but to put it aside for such a length of time.....I see this as a positive for good things to come even sooner to the table.

TS2: I Read the comments by Anonymous concerning testing of the bank screens and the Forex system. ( Reposted Below)

Would like to confirm that something unusual took place this morning around 6 a.m. when I placed two trades the current market price. (the price shown on my trading platform).

Here is what took place: Opened a trade a little before 6a.m.,the trade moved against my position(not a big deal).

Saw that the current market price was bouncing off a key indicator level. (again no big deal), so I placed another trade in the same direction as the previous trade and now BOTH trades were about equally in the red( this WAS a BIG deal, trades were equal size, but 30 pips apart).
