BGG: the two important factors (to Abadi) are value (which he desperately needs) and the Investment Law (which he promised to investors while here in the US).
They appear to be moving right ahead on those - just not there yet...but nice to see their urgency on these "core value" issues.
Q:[Only thing I'm interested in right now is that elusive Tariff law.]
BGG: It is fully passed - just not being implemented as yet...

BGG: IMHO - they are in overtime already.
My guess is - they thought they would come back from DC with all these commitments and they wouldn't have to do their part (Add value)... now they are starting to get the message - all the aid, commitments, loans, etc, come with strings attached. THEY MUST DO THEIR PART.

How can playing around with figures bring back the species loss and the diversity we once had? More economic development along the silk road means using up more resources?

Article 3 is also an excellent article because it reinforces again the main holdup in getting the Erbil agreement completed. They are telling us that they are close by that "some of the issues which is linked to the House of Representatives and the extent of the political blocs by the agreement, such as oil and gas laws and the Federal Court, arming and budget for regional National Guard."
So you see it's the same old laws we are seeing in articles over and over with issues. Yet another article came out this week talking about a National Guard training camp in a town just outside of Ramadi. Really?
Why and How could they already be training these security forces of the National Guard units since the law itself is not even passed and legal? Some weird stuff going on here. Perhaps they are going ahead with some of these laws anyhow and funding them through the backdoor. Would not surprise me. The USA does it all the time until they caught with their pants down....lol...This could be a good thing since they are circumventing the Maliki stalling of the Dowa party in parliament. Eventually they will get these laws passed and any wasted time will be a mute point.

UU5519 - "Another Week" by Mnt Goat
Hello Everyone,
I wanted to hop on today to give you an update on the continuing saga of the Iraqi dinar revaluation process as this week progressed and is concluding. If you have not done so already I wish to invite you to read the last news letter dated 6/3 (LINK) since today's news is a continuance.
All is excellent news and I can hardly believe what I am reading since much of what is happening now has been anticipated and long awaiting. It is like taking a trip and using road signs, pointing to a direction and telling us this is the path we must take. We are getting yet closer to our final destination but the journey is bumpy and road is less traveled by many who try to bring the valid information.
Now that we are in the June time frame there are so many promising events that could get us the RV. I always said we would have to wait to at least until the June time frame before we could even think of an RV.

What happens if the recipient invests with the wrong people? They themselves may be ok but they can't be trusted with their funds. Alternately, what happens if they gift the wrong person or institution? Again, they will seem as irresponsible with their funds.
THERE WILL BE A PERCENTAGE THAT FALLS THROUGH THE CRACKS, BUT THE MAJORITY WILL BE OK.
Thus, it will become a necessity to develop a clearinghouse for evaluating people and institutions to see if they pass scrutiny or not so that gifting and investing doesn't turn into a nightmare.
YES. ALREADY IN MOTION.

Perhaps it is time for digression. The world has gone off topic and wandered to the hidden edges of the rye field. Many assume there is a sheer drop on the other side of that edge.
The emptiness of the world fills itself with ignorance and the sludge of shallowness. No catcher could ever prevent that world from going over that edge. Let alone hold the weight when caught.
The phoniness of the edge itself is revealed by the endless expanse of rye. What mystery awaits when the edge cannot reveal itself? The catcher could materialize from within the rye. But to what end when the means has been denied.

Stevel: It is very unfortunate to see this happen to our investment. I have done business with them in the past but started to get uncomfortable and just had one of those gut feelings and made a business and personal decision to no longer do business with them.
Until someone authorized from that group makes a formal statement, all we can do is guess work and that is not what we do here at PD. We are a fact basis site.
I would rather not produce rumors or guess as to why or what is going on.

walkongstick: Greece delays 5 June IMF debt payment
Greece has told the International Monetary Fund it will delay Friday's ?300m (?216m) debt repayment and bundle all four of its June payments together.
The Athens government will have until 30 June to pay the ?1.5bn total, which is also the day on which its bailout deal with the EU and IMF runs out.
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is trying to reach a deal to unlock final bailout funds before Greece runs out of money.
But Greece's creditors say differences remain between the two sides.
IMF spokesman Gerry Rice said that under a precedent dating back to the late 1970s, governments could ask to bundle together "multiple principal payments falling due in a calendar month... to address the administrative difficulty of making multiple payments in a short period." ....
