[millionday] DNO International ASA ("DNO"), the Norwegian oil and gas operator, today announced that production from the Tawke field in the Kurdistan region of Iraq reached 120,021 barrels of oil per day in May, the first time average monthly production has exceeded 100,000 barrel per day.

May production was split 60-40 between local sales and deliveries to the export pipeline at Fish Khabur. Ahead of its Annual General Meeting to be held at 10:00 CET in Oslo, the Company also announced that production from the Tawke field passed the 75 million barrels cumulative mark on 31 May.

Central impose guardianship on the bank "for the economy, finance and investment" for failing to fulfill its financial obligations

The CBI announced on Friday in setting up the guardianship with the Bank of Economy and Finance they will establish a committee/trusteeship of three for a period of 18 months.....the guardianship stems from the banks sudden inability to fulfill obligations of its customers largely due to unsound banking practices.

Municipalities signed a contract to implement the project carrier lines of heavy water in Hilla, with a local company

The Ministry of Municipalities and Works has signed a local contract to begin installing sewage pipelines in the area of Hilla....the project was let for 26 billion dinars and is one of five such phases for Hilla.

TLAR: Not to worry. All of this is because Hakim would not grant immunity to Maliki,s list. So Maliki is hanging in and with the immunity coming to a close he is a freight train heading to a brick wall. He cannot win and this will not take months tlar

TLAR: I am in Cozumel checking in twice a day. The news has been great. This thing is coming to a head as we edge closer to June 15th. Maliki is losing at every turn and hopefully by Friday we will see the SOL drop him like the hot potato he is.

The sight that many a brave but scared young man faced on this morning 70 years ago....the Greatest Generation....standing at the ready to face an enemy that threatened the world.

These unsung heroes were part of the greatest amphibious landing operation ever witnessed on earth. Some did not make it to see the sunset that day, but all fought bravely for the God given right of freedom for all.

Take a moment today to say a prayer both for those who didn't come home and also for those who commemorate this day both in France and all over the world wherever they happen to be today.

The Greatest Generation, we salute you and thank you for your courage, tenacity, and bravery against an evil machine.
