The Ultimate Cheat Sheet for Dealing With Haters

    Posted by James Altucher

It's easy to get anonymous people to hate you. Have an opinion. Be creative. Be yourself.

But sometimes it gets worse. I've had death threats, legal threats, I've lost friends, even family, over things I've written. I've lost the respect of many I still respect. Articles get written then people hate me even more.

A hater can be anyone. A family member, a friend, a colleague, a teacher, a boss, or some random person you meet on the street or the Internet. People who were friends forever can suddenly be haters. You HAVE to have the tools to deal with it.

walkongstick :  Government of Kurdistan ... to issue its own currency for the province to secede from Iraq

A source familiar with the Kurdistan Regional Government, on Saturday, for the determination of the provincial government to issue its own currency in the province in order to achieve the goal of secession from Iraq.

The source said the "obelisk", "The process of issuing its own currency province of Kurdistan has been the subject of discussion in the parliament session, which was held last Wednesday, which has been meeting with the prime minister of the region Nechirvan Barzani."

The source added that "the meeting saw a discussion on the provincial government to export oil and the U.S. government's opposition to him."

He explained that "the conferees agreed that the export was done without the approval of the federal government, while Barzani stressed that the differences with the United States will not go beyond this limit."

Early Sunday Morning:

TNT:

[imperium]  It seems a lot of people missed this part of Wednesday's call. This is in the call notes: "Caller: From the trillions flowing into the UST from the dark pool trading, can we talk about what's going on right now with the VIPs? It should be in the order VIPs, private groups, then public. With the VIPs, they have already started cashing in yesterday, mainly for oil credits. [Tony and DC agreeing.] I'm trying to talk in code here, so they don't make me hang up. I know there are things we cannot talk about, such as what is showing up now on the screens......"

[imperium] On the call, which was not in the notes, DC said we are in line right behind the VIP's and we will be "pushed through" with them. So I take this to mean the exchange has already started (quietly) on Tuesday and we are on the finish line....not 1/2" from it.

How To Deal With Crappy People

Ugh, I'm disgusted with my brain.  I see people walking down the street and there's like this killer inside me providing running nasty commentary about each person. Do you do this also?

I have to stop myself often: "you don't know this person who is randomly crossing the street. You can't possibly know that he's a cheating lying rich Hamptons-worshipping whoremongering obnoxious trust fund baby with a 17 year old mistress on the side who doesn't wipe, who doesn't wash, who would wish nothing better than to see you die".

How Young Tech Millionaires Invest By Hibah Yousuf

As soon as the sale of his company was announced in 2012, Mike Zhang, who was barely above the legal drinking age at the time, started getting a flood of phone calls.

Wealth managers from some of the largest Wall Street firms -- including Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse -- started pursuing the freshly minted millionaire. Some even sent him gifts in an effort to woo his business.

But Zhang, now 23 years old, was turned off by their approach.

"When I have a rainy day, I don't want to talk to an opportunist," he said.

[Jester] HI EARLY BIRDS... HAPPY SATURDAY...

[roseredtyler] No matter how many articles I read about our SS card and birth certificate. I still reel at what was done to us in 1933

[roseredtyler] Jester how will the New Republic address that, in conversational terms of course.

[Jester] roseredtyler I AM NOT NEARLY IN CHARGE OF THAT... WE ARE TOLD IT WILL GO BACK THE SAME WAY IT CAME... LEGALLY... THERE IS NO MAJOR TURNOVER PLANNED.... THEY ARE NOT GOING TO LINE EVERYONE UP ON THE WALL AND SHOOT THEM... SOME WILL PAY FOR CRIMES... BUT THAT WILL ALL BE DONE LEGALLY TOO... SO WE WAIT AND SEE...

[roseredtyler] Gosh, I was looking forward to the 'wall' event. But I was really referring to the legality of making the change back.

Here's a checklist for you newbies Posted by C.S.C on March 14, 2014 at 9:09pm

First up, some slightly condensed, hardcore information from OSUCowboy (thank you for the great insights):

Preparing for the Exchange Meeting.

As to economic events in your life, how you handle the meeting on the exchange may be the most consequential you will ever face.  Most who go into meeting will be like a hungry wolf and a sheep. You will not be the wolf.  In fact, in another bank room will be the vultures waiting to eat what is left after the wolf devours you. So let's see if we can even the odds.

First, why does someone go into the business of operating a bank? They don't produce anything at all. The reason simply is that they know how to make more from YOUR money than you do.  Why?

Checklist for Security

Posted by C.S.C on March 14, 2014
I posted this before, but there seems to be newbies with questions.  I've made a few revisions:

I live in a small town where it's still relatively safe.  People tend to leave their doors unlocked and the most common crime is drug related.  I take precautions, but don't go out of my way to.

From this place of serenity and security, I used to read the many postings for the need for security with a grain of salt.  They seemed to prophesied a scary world of Gloom and Doom, a place I didn't want to go.  I rationalized that the rich people I know don't seem to take extra precautions, so why should I?

Then, one day, I came to a realization.  We have a target on our backs!  We are a unique group of people in one of the most unique times in history.  We need to think in new ways.
