Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died. Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned.
Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army; another had two sons captured.
Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War.
They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. What kind of men were they?
Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists. Eleven were merchants, nine were farmers and large plantation owners; men of means, well educated, but they signed the Declaration of Independence knowing full well that the penalty would be death if they were captured.

I first want to say It has been a long time since I have publicly posted anything but I have missed many of you. Unfortunately the real world caught up to me for a couple years and I had to focus on that. However, I have not been too far away I wasn't paying attention. I also wanted to say that I am not TD (who has posted at Dinar Recaps). I have had many people ask me and thought it might be a good idea to try and clear that up. I do not know or have anything against this person, but as many know I differ in opinion from him. I also want to make it clear I came back to post to make sure people had their heads up and were excited and prepared for the next part of their lives. I am amazed at how far some of these GURUS have taken things and it is very sad.
So with all that being said I want to give an update on where we are because it seems a lot of people are throwing different ideas and thoughts around. For many years now there have been times at which this was supposed to happen. But of course each time being a let down. We watched UN meetings and agreements being made and bank rumors out the A$$. Many times we would get information from one person that knew a guy somewhere but could never get confirmation, but we were excited. So we kept going, . Now I know most of you are wondering where I am going with this....Well as of Right now, we are closer to being done than we have ever been. We have seen more things happen In the past 2 weeks than we have in 7 years.

You must remember that what you have can be lost. If you give of yourself.... that can never be taken away.
[DinarWishes] As far as news and media goes.... Yes it would appear that we are getting much closer to the end of this ride and as we are drawing to the end, we will find it to be a bittersweet ending.
My time with all of you has changed my life and outlook on patience - a lesson I feel I needed to learn. In a way, I'm grateful for the extra time I've had to be able to mentally prepare for such an event.

Well TWO days ago my son and I were talking about Banks, so he called the Main office of a Major Bank he has an account set up with, and asked if they delt in foreign currency ( Kawaiti Dinar ) using it for an example.
The bank told my son that yes they do and there would be a ( THREE PERCENT CHARGE ), He then called me and told me about the conversation About two weeks prior I used the same question with my bank again on of the big ones and the rate of the Kawati Dinar was about the same 3.499 and was told that I would recieve 3.11.
So as you can see there will be a differance between banks (KEEP THIS IN MIND).

It really summarizes well what's going on and what their intentions are as the process unfolds. The article also states how already the value /need of the dollar is seeing a decline as Iraqis DO UNDERSTAND that sooner or later their IQD will be once again the operating apparatus as now they are sovereign. But it is a process : stabilizing the rate, eventually peg equal to the dollar, deletion of the zeros, introduce the lower denoms, have market forces drive up the rate and eventually start to see it settle. ...

This past night I promised you that I would post my BLUE COUCH EQUATION.
I cooked this up during "our call" hosted by the ever mighty Frank (how he does these calls night after night is a true marvel!).
How did I come up with this idea and what does it mean?
During the past 3 days, I have been on NUMEROUS calls as either a listener, questioner or lead guest(active debate about the Dinar history).
I've taken 20 pages of notes and gleaned insight into where I think we finally are and here is my equation expressing this as succinctly as possible:

Folks, the news is real strange so far this week but I have, along with others always believed it would be right before Iraq's currency reform.
There are also not a lot of Parliament articles that indicate that the laws we or they need passed are set on their agenda but they have said that they did not want to disrupt the Parliaments flow until the last part of the session because they are so controversial, so that part doesn't bother me at all.
Gamaray though did post a very interesting article that spoke of Iraq's Gold Reserves and it is not effected by the global market, matter of fact it says it will be a big supporter of the Iraqi currency!
