Next, Najaifi announces he will step down to satisfy Maliki and the SOL that he remove his name for consideration for Speaker. Earlier, Maliki said publicly there was no way he would step down if Najaifi is considered for Speaker.

Greg: Alsumaria News / Baghdad A parliamentary source revealed, Monday, that the Presidency of the Council of Representatives decided to postpone the second session of the Parliament to the 12th of August next. The source said in an interview for "Alsumaria News", "The presidency of the parliament decided today to postpone the second session of the new parliament, which was scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, the 12th of August next year."

The source, who asked not to be named, said: "The reason for the delay was the incompatibility of the political blocs to nominate candidates for the three presidencies." And decided the new Speaker of the House Rep. older Mehdi al-Hafez, Tuesday (July 1, 2014), the adjournment of the Council to the first day which falls on Tuesday (the eighth of July 2014),

Ok so we are exactly where I said we were Sat... everything halted, some peeps got paid before they halted... US meeting with Maliki & his people (right now in fact) to make sure he gets on a plane and out of the country....

they now have his family "protected" (Lol!) in London... until he is now out of the country, accepting a deal that he will not again renig on, this is paused but will go again full on at anytime that they secure him being out of the picture.

We are still on an hour by hour watch....

I still believe as I said Sat that Maliki has till Tuesday to officially get out of dodge.... or he's risking everything he holds dear.....

As the World Turns.......Ever so Slowly in the Middle East

At first light we see a potential postponement of Parliament to August....how can that be.....they have a time frame in which to accomplish their business....then M wakes up for the day and reads KTFAlways.com news reports and says....."how can this be, I did not order this".......so now there is confusion in the air......

Meanwhile some members of the political parties and blocs are demanding a meeting sooner than August......now we have an insistence to have a meeting this coming Saturday......which news source are you prone to believe......any of them?

There is a lot of conflicting intel and articles regarding the confusing political and security situation in Iraq and how it all impacts where we are right now. But what we all need to remember is that this is much different than the world watching the Tutsis and Hutus in Rwanda being allowed by the world to descend into sheer anarchy and chaos and nobody really seemed to care.

This is the country where 4,489 American Soldiers were killed, 32,021 were wounded and which costed the U.S upwards of 1.1 Trillion dollars.

So needless to say the most powerful superpower in the world has a vested interest in making sure one wanna-be dictator will never be allowed to thwart their original plan, which was to first oust their prior dictator who also thought he was invincible.

    [millionday] here we go -- The Director of the 'IMF' Christine Lagarde said on Sunday that he expected to accelerate global economic activity in 2015 after a gloomy picture at the beginning of the year 2014, adding that the Fund does not expect a sharp slowdown in China. Lagarde explained that 'there are limits to the impact of the policy of the central banks, which aims to support demand', adding that States must also work to promote growth, especially through investment in infrastructure, education and health as long as it is able to carry the debt.

    [millionday] She said expectations 'IMF' for the global economy, which will be updated later this month, will be slightly different from the expectations published in April, pointing to the possibility that the range of growth in China this year, between seven and 7.5 per cent.
