LONDON, Aug. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CME Group, the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, and Thomson Reuters, the world's leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, have launched the new LBMA Silver Price mechanism in partnership with the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA). CME Group,

Thomson Reuters and LBMA have joined forces to provide the over-the-counter spot silver market with a new transaction-based price-setting mechanism for the LBMA Silver Price that is IOSCO-compliant and fully electronic.

CME Group will provide the electronic auction platform on which the price will be calculated,

Thomson Reuters will be responsible for administration and governance and the LBMA will accredit price participants. The new LBMA Silver Price benchmark will be published and distributed by Thomson Reuters and will be available on the LBMA's website.

Some VERY interesting news today.....coupled with Maliki announcing he is STEPPING ASIDE....but NO mention of WHEN he will be doing so.....IMO....this should be treated with guarded celebration.....he is still on the loose....has not left the country...and still has many at his beck and whim......as I've said....be wary of the snake.

Abadi meets Sistani

The new Prime Minister meets with the Iraqi top cleric soon....another good sign of Abadi's acceptance across Iraq....a good thing even on the international level....this man is winning friends and influencing enemies alike.....he appears to be a good prescription for all of Iraq and most, save one individual see good things coming from him.

BigSekz: I have been in O & G equipment business for many years and I like would to tell everyone a little something from experience. I have dealt in foriegn currency for payment on equipment and other deals for a long time.

When this thing hits there will be one rate and one rate only paid on the IQD, VND or any other currency. That will be the rate posted on the financial institution of that country.

(Buy & Sell Rate) Currency rates through traders are based on PIPs. A PIP is a percentage of a percentage point, usually varying from 3 to 4 PIPs from broker to broker. That is their profit.

Family the news we are seeing here on Thursday is still largely of congratulations towards Abadi....and also....Iraq for their recent efforts in creating unity within their government....by doing so they are seeing the freeing up of aid from many different sources.....

They see the military assistance showing up in ways that didn't exist prior to a month ago, they get invited to new groups....UN Group of Friends.....they see Turkey coming to their defense on Monday standing in the way of a potential coup.....and the list keeps building.

The point I'm trying to make here is that the Iraqis are seeing "forward movement" in what to them must seem like light speed....yes light speed.....they are not accustomed to moving at this speed and it must be dizzying for them.....and these are all things that we can see....can you imagine the kinds of things that are going on behind the scenes that we are not yet privy to and may never fully become aware.....but that is ok, because it is good.

I hope each of you are smiling at all this progress both seen and unseen......wait for it....wait for it.....for it is coming.....to a bank screen near you....soon....IMO. Randy

Assessment Makes Mount Sinjar Evacuation Less Likely

WASHINGTON, Aug. 14, 2014 - The findings of an assessment team composed of U.S. service members accompanied by personnel from the U.S. Agency for International Development make an evacuation mission for Yazidis who have sought refuge from terrorists on northern Iraq's Mount Sinjar "far less likely," Pentagon Press Secretary Navy Rear Adm. John Kirby said yesterday.
