Several of the world's leading countries are forming a coalition designed to relieve much of their reliance on the West. The United States and Europe should take note that these nations are determined not to be constrained by Western institutions that fail to accommodate their ambitions.

The frustrations of this five-nation bloc are understandable, if somewhat divergent. Brazil and India blame the West's 2008 financial crisis for sapping economic growth.

Here are a few good bones to gnaw on for the day.....I believe strongly that the events from Iraq could be most interesting to watch unfold for this weekend.....maybe a little slow and dry at the beginning.....but starting tomorrow....it could be an interesting love/hate story in the works.

Reference to speed up the adoption of the two laws and reiterates its message implied Al-Maliki to step down

Two things....speed up the budget approval process, and with regard to the law of the Federal Court....don't get in the way of progress for naming a new Prime Minister.

Citizen: the National Alliance will choose its candidate for prime minister before the hearing next Tuesday

So the National Alliance is saying they will have a meeting before the next session of Parliament, next Tuesday, to decide who their nominee will be for Prime Minister.....they have several qualified candidates to choose from....will it be M....or perhaps a new M that we have not heard much from in the past....at least for now "mmmm's" the word.

IRAQ is a member of the WTO----Working Party on the Accession of Iraq to the WTO ~ NOT !

There is much fanfare prior to ANY country reaching full membership status in the WTO. It actually takes several months from submission of the final report by the working party .

IMO we will know when Iraq is close and it's not today. The document is a "revision" . Where it says "Access Level: Members " means that only members of the WTO can access the info.

Russia condemns latest EU sanctions. Bans import of grain and juice from Ukraine and produce from Poland, vows expansion to entire EU.
