Fit2beFit: I've checked around, and unless I've missed someone, there are no dealers left who are selling reserves. What I'm wondering is.... Since it appears that reserves were being sold illegally (for whatever reason; lack of proper registration, etc.), it only follows that anyone who is holding currency purchased through a reserve program could very well end up have it confiscated.
Fit2beFit: Wouldn't that currency be considered evidence in the dealers court proceedings?

We all must take the events happening in any passive investment and draw a conclusion with it.

Friday News Summaries and Commentaries
International credit rating.....internationally recognized....are they one and the same.....I'm thinking not....remember that long waiting line that leads to Article 8......I believe Article 8 will bring about the international recognition that we tend to seek....
Just a thought for those who are "pondering" things today.....great to see your minds churning, it is a healthy process, just stay focused....tonight's opening post may help with that....but I get ahead of myself.
So we see a "B" to "B-" rating, junk at best....but will people/investors buy these bonds....you bet, like hotcakes....they know the BEST is yet to come....
As for much of the rest of the news today it seems to want to breed confusion....but one thing is shining rather strongly today.....getting rid of corruption....the demonstrators want this.....PM Abadi wants this.....the head cleric in Iraq wants this.....
Maliki wants.....to be taken off the list as head corruptor....but not likely to happen in his lifetime.

A statement by the SIIC received by AIN cited "Hakim stressed that handing over the authorities of specific Federal Ministries to Local Governments in the provinces is a turning point for the Iraqi political and administrative system."
"Hakim praised victories made against the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant terrorists and confirmed the need to assume greater role by the citizens of the occupied areas to liberate their areas," the statement added.
"Both sides discussed the political and economic updates in Iraq where they assured the necessity to endorse the important law drafts and bringing back the displaced citizens to their homelands," the statement concluded.
