Human Rights Watch say militants killed up to 770 men in June killings

An Iraqi soldier survived a mass execution carried out by Islamic State militants (Isis) by dropping to the floor and pretending to be dead.

Islamic State (Isis) militants killed up to 770 men in mass executions at five locations in Tikrit after seizing the city in northern Iraq in June, Human Rights Watch has claimed.

Ali, a 23-year-old soldier who survived of one of the shootings, identified one of three newly discovered sites.

He was captured on 12 June with thousands of other men at 11am as they tried to flee along the main road from a military base.

Other soldiers and officers had advised him to wear civilian clothes to try to avoid detection by Isis fighters.

Ali said he was among prisoners held in a shipping container in a palace compound in the city before being taken out in a group of 10 at about 5pm, where the men were lined up to be shot with pistols one after another.

IMO......what we are seeing in these articles that speak to "who is on first"....."what is on second"....etc.....they are not yet cast in stone....the one thing that appears consistent in each of them is that negotiations are still ongoing......"objects in your rear-view mirror may be bigger than they seem"......and one thing is for sure, Iraq is a land of change....sometimes by the hour. As I have said in the past.....until the Parliament gavel and Speaker declare the process to be over and approved....anything is and probably could be possible.

If we are honestly seeing Maliki, Allawi, and Najafi as VP's.....that is like adding three vipers to a pit with President Massoum in the pit already...IMO...the question then becomes....who controls who.....the Iraqi people will not like seeing Maliki as a part....any part of this new government. This will require a considerable amount of strength on the parts of Massoum and Abadi....IMO....to keep these "three" from running things in the background....especially Maliki.

(1) the GOI is FULLY SEATED & BEEN Doing Buisiness (FOR WEEKS)

(2) the DEFENSE MINISTER IS IN PLACE & HAS BEEN FOR WEEKS

(3) ALL IMPORTANT POSITIONS are filled & NOT BEING REPLACED

This week the propaganda machine was at work once again.
No! Maliki is not going to be the next vice president.

Does anyone actually think for one second they would allow this mad man back into the government? Are you nuts for even bringing such nonesense to any forum. It is obvious hype by Maliki supporters. Why do they keep doing this nonesense? Maybe hopeful but not reality.

This article is almost not worth mentioning except that I wanted clarify for all the stubborn readers that still believe Maliki has a chance in partaking in this new government. Why would you want the evil at the helm once again. Do you think this will get your RV faster?

So here is the truth. This is propaganda and is a phony article. We all should know better by now, shouldn't we? So can we all finally put this rumor to rest?

I come to you today to give you a recent update on the election process and how this relates towards the international rollout of the IQD for Iraq.

Note: If you have not read my previous news letter from Wednesday 9/2 (LINK), I encourage you to first read it. Today's news letter, as in all my news letters, is a continuation of the ongoing saga of the IQD RV process.

Well we went to bed with the same news as we awaken with this morning...that Abadi and entourage to be announced in the coming hours....within 36 hours it would seem....will this bring some other interesting details with it....undoubtedly....for I fear we have not heard the last out of Maliki....notice he has again grown quiet....when the snake is quiet one learns to be extra cautious of where one walks...looking "over" door sills before entering a new room even....I predict that Maliki will not be meeting Abadi to offer kisses on the cheeks. DELTA'S new theme song....."You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet."

OMEGAMAN RECAP BY ELAU: Jon, the IMF had the Funds for the Credit Lines (trade programs and H bonds redemption) on Admin Hold, all funds for the transactions globally are been on and then off and again on Admin Hold , waiting on stand by for the GOI to be officially seated, hence it's the trigger for ALL events, ( Heritage Assets, GCR, RV) since all it's linked. Once GOI seated ( expected 9/4/14) , IMF will release the funds, and we will see the rates going LIVE ( Bank screens and Forex )

Tlar: Don't be so hard on the intel folks. In the overall picture most of the information is correct.

Timing may be off but when you're dealing and depending on Iraqi's and all the moving parts involved in this deal, things can change or stop on a dime.

We are so close now that if you step too fast you will get it on your shoe. I apologize for the Tuesday prediction but RV stopped for selfish motives. They have reset the date and it won't be long now.

I am now out of the exact date business because I learned a very valuable lesson.

That lesson is that of all the moving parts involved in this, there is a number of individuals that can delay this with a phone call. Blue you are correct in my opinion.

Not everybody in our government has our best interest at heart. I did not understand this as a potential in the mix. Call me naive.tlar

-Blue, you know that I don't believe in coincidences only timing. Many believe that the security situation in Iraq is not conducive to suddenly having a major change in the currency (RV) and that global countries will be very hesitant to go in and start their contracted projects out of fear. I don't blame them..

That said and these are just my opinions,

-1st -- with the signing of the anti-terrorist agreements, I believe this is what allows NATO to go into Iraq in the first place and as far as we know they might be joining NATO in some capacity at the meeting this week...
