Hi Everyone,

I come to you today to give you a recent update on the election process and how this relates towards the international rollout of the IQD for Iraq.

Note: If you have not read my previous news letter from Friday 9/5 (LINK), I encourage you to first read it. Today's news letter, as in all my news letters, is a continuation of the ongoing saga of the IQD RV process.

Honestly I really tried once again to limit this news letter today to a page or two.

Today is Saturday 9/6 and we still look forward to the final "formal" announcement of the fully formed government of Iraq.

In quickly perusing the news today, looks like many articles....and many still talk of the new government....at least one is talking about the government being formed in the coming "hours"....we shall see....there also seems to still be some positions that are being vied for within the COM of Abadi's.

Weightings government's announcement today

First to be "teed" up is a conflict over any announcement today versus perhaps on Monday.....as the days draw down to hours before the Constitutional deadline looms there is belief that the meetings, discussions, and demands are flowing well at this point in time....now if they could only appease the US on the issue of Defense Minister.

Therefore USA had to make sure correct people were selected as the Weapons Budget from NATO goes HERE

MARK : don't they have like 30 ministers to seat, that's four

Carden > MARK DONE, DONE, DONE... all done. These are the only ones that needed USA approval. With this formal announcement ABADI has the "all-inclusive government" which was requested/required before the PM designate could be noted PM officially. Now we wait for this announcement congratulating him. Any minute.

Majic11 September 6, 2014 at 9:05am IMO they are on a schedule to roll it out at a precise time of their choosing. I think much of this has been planned considering just the event last night of having lots of powerful people together in one place.

I think it would be hard to coordinate safely and quickly to bring all these people together randomly as tasks were completed .

My guess is that they will roll it out this Monday or Tuesday and between now and then there will be more of the "filler" news articles coming from iraq

Although I wouldn't mind being wrong and have it released today!!

What A Long Strange Trip It's Been

To be honest, that's putting it mildly. Whether it be six months or six years, if you've been on this ride and involved in this journey for any length of time, then I'm sure you can definitely relate. At this point I'd be willing to say that a long, strange trip is putting it mildly.

This roller coaster ride of an adventure has taken us through more ups and downs than a kid eating cotton candy while riding a pogo stick.

With that being said, when it comes right down to it, regardless of how stressful this journey may have been, I couldn't be more grateful to have been made aware of this opportunity oh so long ago.

Having been involved for over half a decade and counting, my two week stress test of hoping my first 'batch' would arrive in time for the RV seems beyond a mere memory. Yet the angst is still fresh in my mind.
