Tishwash:  Tamimi reveals a huge surplus in the budget

(Baghdad: al-Furat Nabuz) revealed a member of the Finance Committee of the former parliamentary Majida Tamimi, on Wednesday, a surplus in the financial budget for the first half of this year.

Tamimi said in a press statement by the agency {Euphrates News} that "excess amounts from the budget for the year 2018 amounted to 7.5 trillion dinars in the past six months." 

"Revenues from 2004 amounted to 873 billion dollars, of which 863 billion dollars were spent," she said. 

On the decision of the Prime Minister to withdraw the hand of the Minister of Electricity Qassim Fahdawi suspended Tamimi, who questioned the minister in the previous parliament that "in 2015, 86 financial violations against the Minister of Electricity." 

"The current political parties, if they want to continue to change their approach, there is no people in the world who demands water and electricity as the main demands in a country rich in wealth," she said.    link

The country has total debt of more than ONE QUADRILLION YEN (around $10 trillion) pushing its debt-to-GDP ratio to a whopping 224% - that puts it ahead of financial basket case Greece, whose debt-to-GDP is around 180%.
 
Japan spent 24.1% of its total revenue (appx. 23.5 trillion yen) last year servicing its debt – both paying down principal and interest. And that percentage has no doubt moved even higher this year.
