Maximus016: I mentioned last week that this week was pivotal as taxes and tariffs were set to be collected. Under international law, you cannot do that without having an international trade able currency.

Sandyf The article you posted is referring to a redenomination which reduces the mass of currency in circulation and enhances the currency value. What many are not prepared to accept is that redenomination revalues the monetary unit but not the existing currency.
