As members of the FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) community, we are all nonconformist. We scoff at conspicuous consumption of our neighbors in their full-size SUVs and McMansions, and instead budget with a very sharp pencil (spreadsheets are fine, too) and grow our stealth wealth, one dollar at a time.

JJimmyJJ: I can't remember them EVER working with the kind of urgency they showed during their orchestrated "show" they put on today. It almost seems like they're getting ready to announce something to the unwashed masses. It is fantastic that this isn't being reserved only for the special kids any longer. Pollysue: was talking to a young man last night and we started taking about banking , money and such. If you ask a bank personal about something that you know is coming out like new bills, they say they are not sure , or they have no idea about it.
I remember when they were bring back the 2 dollar bill, I went in to the bank and asked not just one of the banker but 3 bankers they said they had no idea if there was a new 2 dollar bill coming out.
Later that week there it was at the bank the new 2 dollar bills. He said it is still that way today.
They the bankers have to just agree with or say nothing to keep people from becoming upset
