Iraqi satellite for international investment
Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi Communications Ministry announced intentions to put Iraqi satellite
project to international investments.
Earlier, a workshop was convened with the French Airbus Company to train Iraqi cadre to finalize the project that was stopped since 2014 due to lack of financial allocations.
It is expected that the project will be in the service of agricultural, industrial, military and environmental purposes, as well as security operations, experts said.
Future prospects of the ministry included a move to establish Iraqi space agency to assist Iraqi governmental departments in all sectors.
