The roughly three decades that coincided with the monetary arrangements of the Bretton Woods system is often thought of as a time of relative stability, order and discipline.
Yet considering that it took nearly 15 years following the 1944 conference at Bretton Woods before the system was fully operational and that there were signs of instability throughout the era, perhaps not enough has been made of the relative difficulty in trying to maintain the system.

MZ: Good Morning……everyone I’ve talked to so far today says today will be a big day to watch…maybe to get it all……..so we are watching everything closely….There really has been some fantastic news…..a lot of it I cannot share…..I know how frustrating it is to hear that…….I get that

MZ: We do have news out of Iraq…..hearing the new rate has gone live or is about to go live and that is one reason I plan on doing a stream on Saturday tomorrow.
My people on the ground there expect a rate of $3.63 in Iraq by tomorrow morning….this from some good sources over there---contractors.. and this rate came from a contractor publication in Iraq.
This is not a publication you can see on internet…It was given to contractors so they can pay their employees. This is the rate they will be paying their employees….This to me is pretty exciting…..
