Frank26: TO ALL MOTHERS OF KTFA ALONG WITH MINE AND TINK'S THAT ARE IN HEAVEN ................... HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY LADIES.................... MAY YOU AND YOURS BE BLESSED ON THIS SPECIAL DAY OF YOUR CELEBRATION !!! .............. SWEET ALOHA OI \M/
Gem: Good evening Walkingstick and thank you,Sir, I have one question if you can answer it Sir and that is how long can the candidate keep there election poster up after the election is over?
Walkingstick: My understanding, matter of days... but, many local governate/s have taken it upon themselves to do so, sooner.... So, rules don't apply here...Hundreds were taken down, as they were put up... candidates were removing, and or covering the faces of martyrs (these people were killed protecting their country) with their electoral posters/ billboards... I know, beyond shameful... Thousands have since been defaced and or removed during the elections....and continue, to be removed by the locals....

PMchattels Kirk H. Sowell@UticaRisk #InsideIraqiPolitics readers will note that we highlighted Ali's campaign in the issue just out as one of those secularists who we thought might suffer both from the division of secular parties as well as the boycott.
chattels So right now Iraqi media saying IHEC says participation 35-40%, so even the 40% figure, which is a major low, probably won't be reached.
chattels Whatever the final figure, congrats to Iraqis on this point. The lack of violence is very important. Developing a well-functioning democracy takes any country many years, but this is important.

In opening a line of thought, this literary excursion includes two favorite subjects, words and food. Both are important staples, in any life, really. Both serve as markers of change and evolution, from academic and anthropological standpoints, as well as physical and spiritual ones. There are a few points of understanding that we may choose to acknowledge as we begin.
Number one, is that everything changes. How deeply this statement is understood by you, personally, is up to you to determine. One may casually acknowledge that time moves on, or all things grow, ripen with age, and eventually decay. Perhaps a person is more in tune with the changing of the seasons or the turning of the wheel, and maybe know more than a little about the alchemy involved in it.
Walkingstick: ftti..(For those that are interested) .. Regardless, After... the new, President of the Republic is named by the new parliament... The representative of the bloc with the largest numbers is named by the new President of the Republic to form the new Cabinet....
In brief: Whether, Abadi achieved a sweeping majority of votes, or not... Other (blocs) (Sadr, Hakim, Kurds, Allawi and/ or others) will certainly ally with Abadi to form the largest bloc... to thwart Maliki and or Amiri from obtaining the PM position...
Also, keep in mind, Sistani... once again, indirectly stated his disapproval of Maliki.. as did, many Western countries and those in the region... But, we can expect him (Maliki) to contest as he had in the past, only to be forced to step aside..
