Parliament votes on the budget law and raise its meeting to next Monday

The House of Representatives announced on Saturday the vote on the budget law of 2018.
"The House of Representatives completed the vote on the federal budget bill for the year 2018," a parliamentary source said.

He added that "the Council raised its meeting to next Monday after the vote on the budget."

Greyeagle1: This has the appearance that Abadi is no slouch. Politicolly he upstaged the defiant Kurds on two major agendas within the last 8 months. I agree with the major news media that says nobody in Iraq can beat him. Hope that is true. Time will tell.

RVAlready: The amended the rules of procedure last week, so that if the Kurds boycotted, it was just tough luck for the Kurds.

Samson:  MP Abadi: Prime Minister insisted on 12% as a share of the region

MP Jabbar al-Abbadi, Friday, March 2, 2018, that the meeting of the three presidencies led to the confirmation of the share of northern Iraq, amounting to 12.68%.

Abadi said in an interview followed by the obelisk, that "the political blocs and the government exceeded the talk about the proportion of the territory of northern Iraq has been confirmed on the proportion of 12.68 percent and discuss other new files," noting that "Prime Minister Haider Abadi said during the meeting of the three presidencies that the proportion of the region will be proportionate Population ".
