The Day I Found Out It Was All Rigged

May 6, 2010 started off as a pretty boring day.
 
The most exciting stories from the morning’s newspapers were reviews of the upcoming Iron Man 2 film.
 
But all that changed at around 2:45pm when, without warning, the stock market crashed, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 1,000 points within minutes.
 
It was unprecedented… especially because there was absolutely no reason why stocks should have fallen so much.

Sergio: To all those who think this is a BS investment or a Scam, you have no clue as to investing. Everything and everyone is a risk in life and this investment is no different.

If you really think of it who ever bought the IQD what did you really risk? Unless you over shot your investment on this it would probably happen to you in any other investment you would make. That is why everyone is on their own.

Have you given or received a large gift? Do you know what the tax consequences are? You may be subject to the 40% Federal Gift Tax.

According to the IRS, a gift is "Any transfer to an individual, either directly or indirectly, where full consideration (measured in money or money's worth) is not received in return."

The gift tax is the responsibility of the person who gives a gift (i.e. the donor), and the amount of tax due is based on the value of their gift. The person who receives a gift (i.e. the donee) is generally not responsible for paying the gift tax.

However, if the donor does not pay the gift tax, the donee may have to pay the tax instead.
