Finding a new financial advisor can be a daunting task, but it is actually a two-step process. Read on ahead for expert input and more to help you find the financial advisor that fits.

Two Steps Towards a New Financial Advisor

“Most investors care the most about two things,” said David Marotta, of Marotta Wealth Management in Charlottesville, Va. “They want their portfolio’s value to go up and they want to get a call back from their advisor within 24 hours.”

If you look at an average adult life, you will find many different times in that life in which someone has a financial decision to make. Whether starting a new job, retiring, buying a first home, starting a family or having a life transition event such as a divorce or death, a financial advisor can help with the decision-making that arises from these life events.
