What does hosting entail?
As the hostess, you get to decide a theme of your Dine-Around. This is not required and is completely up to you. IWF – Trusteeship reimburses hostesses up to $500 per Dine-Around when you host. All receipts must be submitted within 7 days of your Dine-Around. Reimbursement covers only food and beverages (not decorations, gifts, etc.).
Who should attend?
Only IWF - Trusteeship members can attend our Dine-Arounds. We think most members will want to attend a Dine-Around closest to where they live or work. However, some members may want to attend more than one Dine-Around throughout the year. Once a Dine-Around guest list is at capacity, we will put members on a waiting list. The host will receive the names of their confirmed guests a week before the event and we will confirm 3 days ahead of time with all attendees.
When should a Dine-Around be held?
Members can host a Brunch, Lunch or Dinner Dine-Around at anytime between February and September. We like to give members at least one month's notice so there is plenty of time to RSVP. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested in hosting.
I'm interested in attending a Dine-Around. What should I be aware of?
Members attending a Dine-Around will be charged a $40 fee for each Dine-Around they attend to cover the costs. Members can sign up for as many Dine-Arounds as they wish; however, priority goes to new members and those who have not yet attended a Dine-Around.
