OUR DINE OUT FOR AUGUST

TRIP DESCRIPTION:

In Weirsdale, on the south shore of Lake Weir, a well-known spot has come to life again. The original founder Jay Eaton, a New Jersey resident, bought the white sand beachfront property in 1924. With the hope of developing another Coney Island, a 30-foot boardwalk over the water, a dive tower, a boathouse and even a three-lane bowling alley were built. Many local Florida residents and tourists made lasting memories there. Since 1943, the property was bought and sold by three different families.


The best thing about Eaton's Beach Sandbar & Grill is that it provides something for everyone: a mouthwatering menu,
a full-service bar, waterfront deck dining, fantastic service, and
a relaxing and comfortable beach atmosphere. We're on a mission to provide top-notch hospitality and the best restaurant experience in the area.

TRIP DETAILS:

We will meet at Laurel Manor Rec Center at 3:30 p.m. and depart a 3:45 p.m.

We will be seated indoors and will have a few tables to accommodate a maximum of 30.

COST:

The cost is $10 per person to reserve your spot.

IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND prior to 2 days before the date of the Dine Out, please contact Judy Gorman at dinzik@yahoo.com, 609-290-0185. She is our "Registration and Waiting List Coordinator", and can assist you in exchanging your place from those on the Waiting List, and will contact the Trip Leaders of the exchange.
 
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND the day of the event, please contact the trip leaders.   

 If you cannot sell your place on this tour to someone on the waiting list, please be advised that according to the VCC policies, there are no refunds.  
 
Approximately 5 days prior to the date of this trip, you will receive an email with any final instructions.

If you miss the cut-off date or the Dine Out is full and you want to go, please add your
name(s) to the waiting list. If there is a cancellation, those on the waiting list will be contacted in the order they signed up.
