Dinner in the Diner is back! We will offer this immersive railroad dining car event experience on Friday, February 13, 2026 beginning at 7:00pm.
NOTE: One "ticket" includes admission for one couple (2 adults).
Enjoy a unique celebration with authentic railroad recipes served up in the grand manner aboard the Museum of the American Railroad’s restored 1937 M-K-T Dining Car!
This year's theme is black & white, so come dressed in your favorite contemporary or vintage black & white styles!
Please note that the menu includes non-vegetarian items and is not gluten-free. Vegetarian option available upon request (must notify the Museum prior to the event 214-428-0101). Please note that walking on uneven ground and climbing stairs are involved due to continued construction on the Museum’s grounds.

About this Event:
Treat that special person in your life to the romance and splendor of dining by rail. Join us for a special evening aboard the Museum’s 1937 Missouri-Kansas-Texas railroad dining car, and savor authentic railroad menu items faithfully prepared from original recipes.
The menu selections are based on careful research and consideration. Please consider your dietary preferences before purchasing tickets.
The evening begins with appetizers and drinks at 7:00pm in TrainTopia (inside the Frisco Discovery Center), followed by railroad dining car recipes served in the Museum’s 1937 Missouri-Kansas-Texas restored dining car at 8:00pm.
Please park at the Frisco Discovery Center (8004 N. Dallas Pkwy., Frisco, TX 75034) and enter the building to access TrainTopia (Ste. 400).
