Menu

week of January 20th ~ January 24th

Tuesday: Chicken Wonton Soup / Potato Soup

~ This soup is surprisingly becoming one of our most popular soups. Once you try it you will know why. Packed with flavor and texture from all the different veggies, seasonings, fresh chicken, and the wontons dumplings. It has a unique yet familiar flavor that will keep you coming back for more.

Then there is potato, a classic with very little need for introduction. We use almost a whole 50lb box of potatoes to make this soup. Along with tons of carrots, celery, onions, garlic and fresh herbs. Perfect lunch or dinner for a subzero windchill.

Wednesday- Stuffed Breads

~Pepperoni Rolls and Flavor of the Week Roll

~Focaccia

~Olive Oil Bread

Thursday- Beef Vegetable Soup / Lemony Chickpea Soup

~ This is a childhood favorite for me. A soup my dad would often make, especially on cold winter days. He would let it simmer for hours, until the beef was melt in your mouth tender, yet all the veggies kept their integrity. Pair that with fresh bread from Roberts Bakery (those who know and remember that wonderful bakery that used to be on Main St in Butler) with cold butter smeared on it, perfect for dunking into that warm soup. I must say Jess does an amazing job matching those memories.

The second soup of the day is light yet filled with herbaceous zesty flavor. Hearty with the chickpeas and veggies so it fills you up without weighing you down. The perfect lunch. Pair with our sea salt and pepper bread for a delicious pairing.

Friday- Fried Rice (w/out Shrimp)

~ We absolutely love this meal here at Batch except for the fact that we have to dirty about every bowl in the kitchen to make it. Jess makes each component separate, so all those flavors stand on their own to create this textural, flavorful dish. Filled with perfectly fried rice, egg, veggies, and a ginger soy marinated shrimp. This is a one stop shop for dinner this weekend. Dinner is done

Saturday- Quiche

~ Tomato, Spinach, Italian Cheese

~ Mushroom and Gouda

~ Ham, Pepper, Onion, and Cheddar

Italian Tortellini Salad

~ Cheese tortellini marinated in our balsamic dressing, combined with fresh tomatoes and Italian cheese, all on a bed of mixed greens.
