Tuesday: Gumbo-Laya / Pesto Minestrone Soup

~ On a cool fall day, a heaping bowl of soup that is filled with chicken, smokey sausage, tender shrimp, rice, and tons of veggies, really hits the spot. This soup is the perfect complement to our butter milk biscuits.


A taste of spring on a cold fall day may be just what you need. Our Pesto minestrone is light yet very hardy with all the veggies and white beans. The flavor is outstanding with the pesto swirled into every bite.





Wednesday- Stuffed Breads

Thursday- Butternut Squash / White Chicken Chili

~ Tis' the season for butternut squash soup, and we love using the last of what our dear Ambrose Farm grew this year. We roast those beauties and then puree them with other veggies and fresh herbs, to make a beautiful smooth and flavorful soup. Pair with our olive oil bread for your dunking pleasure.


Some of you have asked for us to make this soup more often, so we have taken note of that and whipping it up for you this week. All the chili like flavors but with a fun twist of green chilies, white beans, and roast chicken make up the bulk of this soup. Ideal for an easy dinner that the whole family loves.






Friday- Thai Peanut Chicken

~ Oh I am very excited about this Friday, I know I say that a lot, but I love food! I especially love food that is packed with different flavors and textures that make you stop and think yet keeps you coming back for just one more bite. This meal does just that to me, keeps me coming back. So, broaden your horizons this week (and your families) and try this for dinner. It is complete with rice and roasted broccoli too. Dinner is done.




Saturday- Quiche

~ Sausage, Blueberry, White Cheddar

~ Spinach, Artichoke, Italian Cheese

~ Caramelized Onion and White Cheddar




Roasted Sweet Potato Salad

~ Perfectly roasted sweet potatoes, tangy goat cheese, candied pecans, and sweet cranberries on a bed of mixed greens.
