Back 2 School Bash: Hairdressers Wanted

Congregations provide a bash for underserved families as students head back to school. Kids receive backpacks, supplies, haircuts (we need hair dressers), shoes, socks and the message that they are loved. Volunteer help appreciated on Thursday, August 8 at 6 p.m. and on the day of the event. Three shifts available: 8:15-11:15 a.m.
11 a.m. - 2 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

St. Paul's LUV SummerFest
Saturday, August 24, 5 p.m.
Enjoy a fun evening at Humphrey's by the Bay supporting St. Paul's Senior Services. Tasting room, karaoke lounge, silent and live auctions, photo booth, music fest and more. Proceeds help PACE, a program that allows low-income seniors to receive medical care while staying in their homes, among other programs.

Multicultural Children's Festival

Bring your kids and grandkids and enjoy a Lion Dance, Aztec and Filipino dancers, the St. Luke's choir and other African music. RefugeeNet Responds to Refugee Needs
RefugeeNet is beginning a transition reflecting the major reduction in new arrivals through the national office of refugee resettlement. It is time to revise our mission in response to this reality. We will expand our education and youth development programs, as great demand exists to serve refugees in these areas. We are actively looking for staff leadership with experience in youth education and programming. As we continue to progress in this field we hope we can count on continued support from our loyal volunteers and donors.
