We are happy to announce that Holy Cross, Carlsbad has called the Rev. Richard Hogue Jr. to be their next vicar. He will begin his new ministry on April 5, Palm Sunday.
The Reverend Richard Hogue Jr. grew up in Northern Wisconsin, where he was deeply rooted in the Episcopal tradition and the natural beauty of the wilderness. Before ordination, some formative experiences shaped who he is as a priest today, including volunteering in the slums of South Africa and as a lay missioner in the Diocese of Newark.
