Save the date for the 151st Diocesan Convention being held June 7-9th at Camp-of-the-Woods in Speculator.

Women's Welcome Home Initiative
This Welcome Home Initiative© is a healing program for female military combat veterans. These veterans may be suffering in varying degrees from Post-Traumatic Stress or Moral Injury and are in need of Soul Repair. The format of the program helps veterans understand the hidden impact of combat and provides a safe place for their emotional healing. This essential spiritual and emotional healing is a complement to healing received from medical, psychiatric, and social services. There is NO CHARGE for veterans thanks to the generosity of individuals, churches and businesses.

Seven Last Word's of Christ
Join us at St. George's (30 N Ferry, Schenectady) for a pot luck supper at 6:30pm in the Great Hall, followed by talk/meditation on the Seven Last Words of Christ about 7:10 p.m. in the Lady Chapel, and concluding
with Stations of the Cross.

On Tuesday, March 5th, 2019 St. Luke’s in Cambridge will hold it's annual Free Pancake and Ice Cream “Fat Tuesday” Supper. It’s a great time to eat a stomach filling dinner and chat with your friends.

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Delmar will host its much anticipated 
Annual Pancake Supper on Tuesday, March 5th from 5-7 p.m. Tickets on sale at the door for $7 per person/$25 for a family of four or more.  

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, March 5
Come to Trinity Church Plattsburgh for one Last chance to frolic before Lent! Come to the Parish Hall at 5:30 PM on March 5 to gather with friends and fellow parishioners for a pancake supper prepared by Bruce and Tina Moore and their helpers. Dinner will be served at 6 PM. Plenty of food and fellowship in a festive atmosphere! Bring a guest! Once again, there is no charge for this dinner but a donation basket will be available. We will put out a clipboard at the back of the sanctuary for reservations so the team can plan.

Comfort For Those Who Mourn,
Begins March 6
This is a 6 week Christian nondenominational support group for those grieving the death of a loved one. The group will meet at St. Luke's from 4:30-6:00 beginning Wednesday, March 6, 2019. Following the group, all participants are invited to stay for Eucharist at 6:00 and a potluck supper. If you or anyone you know would be interested in attending this group, please call 518-664-4834 for registration and further information or email: stlukesonthehill@biznycap.rr.com 

Private Pre-release Viewing: The Pilgrim's Progress
Join us for a Private Pre-release viewing of Crosswalk Movies new animated version of The Pilgrim's Progress at  St. Jame's Episcopal Church, 172 Ottawa St., Lake George, from 4:30-6:30pm. Journey with Christian through the joys of faith and hope as well as challenges of doubt, persecution, and hardships. Executive Producer Steve Cleary said, "More than any other story (outside the Bible), The Pilgrim’s Progress has been used to inspire and challenge Christians to set their eyes on God." This movie is perfect for all ages and is a wonderful opportunity to begin our Lenten journey to our Savior's Cross. Bring your family and friends!

A Lenten Study Group, Tuesdays
at Trinity Church Plattsburgh - open to anyone who wishes to attend - will meet on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM in the Upper Room beginning March 12 for 5 weeks (save week 6 in case
we need a makeup week)
We will read Hanging by a Thread: The Questions of the Cross by Samuel Wells. Please contact the Trinity Church Office (518-561-2244 or trinityplattsburgh@gmail.com by March if you plan to attend. Books are $10.75 and Leslie will order books for anyone who requests it. (Books are available at amazon.com so feel free to order ahead on your own if you wish). This is a series of theological reflections from internationally known scholar and Anglican cleric Samuel Wells that reflect on the challenges of our understanding of Christ’s crucifixion that arise today using contemporary ideas in history, biblical studies, and philosophy.

Lenten Soup and Bible Study, Wednesdays
5:30pm at Good Shepherd, Chestertown. Join us during Lent as we study Max Lucado’s book,  “He Chose the Nails, What God Did to Win Your Heart” Our evening will begin with a simple soup & bread supper followed by a discussion based on the above book. Study Guides available & suggested for $10. Healing Service, March 13
Christ Episcopal Church, Coxsackie has a healing service, the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7pm. Everyone is welcome to attend the next healing service, Wednesday, March 13, at the church, 70 Mansion Ave., Coxsackie, NY, 12051. The service is intended to be spirit-led and generally includes music, a short talk and prayer. Come and bring a hurting friend.

Souper Thursday, March 14
On March 14th,2019 St. Luke’s in Cambridge will hold it's “Souper Thursday” free meal at the Parish House on 4 St. Luke’s Place, Cambridge. It is held from 4-6pm every 2nd Thursday of the month.
