Spotlight on Diocesan Commissions
|
|
The Commission for Intercultural Ministries seeks to help our worshiping communities live into our Christian values as articulated in our Baptismal Covenant. This includes welcoming and appreciating the diversity of the people among and around us. It means reaching out to people in our communities who may have a different cultural or ethnic background, and engaging with them toward the goal of being a Beloved Community.

This weeks highlighted dreams:
Episcopal Foundation of Northern California
Providing funds for the many ministries – large and small, ongoing and start-up, that the visions of transformation shared by all ministries in this Diocese may be realized.
Holy Ground Living Classroom
To encourage all of our neighbors to linger and pray, or simply rest, and a living classroom dedicated to tending body, soul, and the planet.
Hope’s Space
Funds would be used to obtain digital resources to offer a bi-weekly virtual song circle for healing until such time as this program can be held in person.
The vestry of St. Paul's, Sacramento has issued a donation match challenge and will match all donations received for Hope's Space up to $6,000. We encourage you to do the same for your favorite dream in the Book of Dreams.
