Join us for Indy Pride

Pride month, celebrated in June, is a time to celebrate the lives and accomplishments of the LBGTQ+ community. The Diocese of Indianapolis has had a visible presence in many local Pride celebrations throughout our Diocese for several years. Pride has been experienced by many as a truly joyful time to show up with love. The energy is contagious and leaves you feeling proud of what we stand for. Last year, at Indy Pride, we had one of the biggest—and definitely the youngest—faith group presences there. It was beautiful!

You won't want to miss the various Pride celebrations happening this year! If you haven't signed up to walk with us this year or to help at the table during the Celebration on the Circle, sign up below to make sure you get all the details.

Pride Resouces

Here are some offerings from The Episcopal Church to help individuals, congregations, and dioceses honor LGBTQ+ people during Pride month:

  • On June 1, join a livestream service with Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe in the Episcopal Church Center chapel, during which he will bless all upcoming Episcopal Pride events and participants. The service will air at 6 p.m. ET on The Episcopal Church’s Facebook page and YouTube channel, with a recording available afterward.

  • Find special resources, including a downloadable Pride shield, customizable 30- and 60-second videos highlighting the church’s LGBTQ+ advocacy and support, social media graphics, and more. Check listings for available languages.

  • The Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis has created a LGBTQIA+ toolkit that gives you ways to stay informed and take action. We also have added the Episcopal Pride Shield, our IndyDio Pride graphic, and a printable pride bifold that can be helpful at pride tables.
