Diocesan Convention Roundup
Diocesan Convention was held on Saturday, November 13 in a hybrid format.

The convention elected leaders to the Standing Committee, Executive Council, Commission on Ministry, and the Waycross Board. See a list of newly elected or reelected leaders on the 2021 Convention page.

Convention also approved resolutions making St. Nicholas Early Learning and The Avenue Foundation cooperating ministries of the diocese, and asked the Episcopal Church's General Convention to research and document the church's role in Native American residential schools. A change to the diocese's Canon 7 will mean that congregations are not obligated to include income from Paycheck Protection Program loans in the calculations of their diocesan apportionment.

• Lunches and Lessons at St. Andres School in Mithon
• A full year of operating costs for the community center at the heart of the Diocese of Brasilia’s outreach to the community in Pedregal
• Food baskets for families who rely on the community center for basic necessities.

Including the convention offering, the diocese has so far raised $10,669.47.
