Project Resource 2.0 helps mobilize dioceses

Presiding Bishop Curry: 'Wake up'
Presiding Bishop Michael Curry returned to his old stomping grounds in the Diocese of Maryland, bringing an inspiring message and encouraging Episcopalians to claim their role as members of the Jesus Movement.
"'Heaven help the devil if the Episcopal Church ever wakes up,'" he said, quoting the famed 20th-century evangelist, Billy Sunday.

Becky Meyer to retire
Becky Meyer, Diocesan Controller, will retire from her position June 30 following nearly 30 years on the diocesan staff. Leading up to her retirement, Ms. Meyer will work Tuesday-Thursday as we prepare for the transition. More information on a celebration of Becky's retirement will be forthcoming.

Pat Connell to retire
Trinity Church, Owensboro has announced the upcoming retirement of the Rev. Pat Connell, whose last Sunday will be Trinity Sunday, June 11.

KCC names new executive director

St. Mary's Episcopal Convent to host 'Vocation Discovery'
In Sewanee, Tenn., St. Mary's Episcopal Convent is hosting a Vocation Discovery program from
June 3-10
for women interested in exploring the call to become a Sister. Throughout this program, women will live, pray, and work alongside the Sisters. More details are available here.

The burial office was said for the Rev. Moray Peoples on April 22nd at St. Matthew's, Louisville and for the Rev. Glen Coppick on April 21st at Trinity, Owensboro. May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace. We give thanks for their many years of ministry in our diocese and hold their families in prayer as they mourn.
