´╗┐ATTENTION: Chamber events postponed at least 3 weeks
The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce has been closely monitoring the quickly evolving coronavirus situation. The health and safety of our members and our community are our top priority. Given that the president has declared a national State of Emergency, Governor Sununu has declared a State of Emergency here in New Hampshire, and schools have been closed until at least April 3, the Chamber's Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel or postpone all Chamber events for at least the next three weeks (through April 3).
We will work to reschedule the events that we can when the crisis has passed. In the meantime, remember that it is perfectly acceptable to abstain from typical professional courtesies such as shaking hands or talking in close proximity. Hand washing remains a critical effective preventive measure.

For your reference, here are links to two coronavirus-related tip sheets from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation:  COVID-19 Workplace Tips for Employees  and  Guidance for Employers to Plan and Respond to Coronavirus . Both documents contain links to additional fact sheets from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention. The CDC has also created an  Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers  web page, based on what is currently known about the coronavirus disease, and OSHA provides  Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19 .

Locally, the  Strafford County Public Health Network  is an excellent source of information on public health emergency preparedness.
