Tri-Chamber WorkShare Program Presentation
Wednesday, February 10, 10-11 a.m.

Join New Hampshire Employment Security Deputy Commissioner Richard Lavers for an overview of the WorkShare Program, which provides businesses with an alternative to layoffs. Employers keep trained workers and are able to get up and running to full capacity faster, without having to rehire and/or train staff. Employees keep their jobs and receive unemployment benefits while their hours are reduced, rather than eliminated. They stay partially employed instead of becoming unemployed.
Afternoon Networking February 2021
ONLINE - Tuesday, February 16, 4-5 p.m.

No Valentine? No Problem! Join the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce and our February Afternoon Networking host iHeart Media for an hour of fun heart-themed networking! Participants with a heart-themed background will be entered to win a variety of prizes including a gift card to Red's Shoe Barn. So stock up on that discount valentine day candy and be our Valentine! 

Participants will partake in a group speed networking event. The program will start promptly at 4pm and consist of a rotation of groups of 3-5 participants every 10-15 minutes, throughout the hour.

Phase 2 of the NH SBDC Business Resiliency Survey
Survey is live until February 15

The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce is pleased to be a survey partner on Phase 2 of the 2021 NH Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Business Resiliency Survey that the NH SBDC developed with the UNH Survey Center.
 
The survey will deepen our understanding of the impact of COVID-19 on small businesses throughout New Hampshire. We learned a great deal in last summer’s Phase 1 survey. We know that businesses and their responses to the pandemic have evolved. Some businesses have thrived, while many are still struggling and need help. By leveraging the survey results, NH’s economic development partners will be able to help you and other small businesses recover and become more resilient.
 
The survey will be live through February 15 and should take less than 10 minutes to complete.
