Looking Forward to the Symposium
|
It’s been over two years since we met at the last FCSI The Americas Conference in Denver. From that moment on, the world really underwent an important change and now there is a lot of excitement on everyone's part to reunite again. Only a few short weeks separate us from our Symposium in Orlando, Florida.
All our common work systems changed. We went from face-to-face meetings to virtual meetings, from managing and supervising projects to a virtual way, from training through webinars to simply accepting that many of our projects were suspended or placed on standby. It is important to recognize that we were not prepared for this sudden change and that it changed the way we do business going forward.
Suddenly, most of us went from developing gastronomic projects/properties or restaurants to ghost kitchens.
Latin America has not been the exception either. Many of the problems related to COVID19 have directly impacted the economies and the vast majority of LATAM countries due to their limitations in the health systems. This has caused many of the consultants in this region to innovate in different ways to attract and retain clients.
The Symposium in Orlando gives us the opportunity to share again. Not only will we be together -- we will be sharing experiences, learning best practices and, above all, we will be together as an association. We can now move forward to benefit each of our members with excellent conferences, educational workgroups and exhibitions, and the opportunity to attend the NAFEM Show and learn how technology in equipment has played a key role in the foodservice industry.
If you have not yet registered for Symposium, I invite you to do so. Remember it is time to attend and update on new trends that make the foodservice channel fascinating to us. I am looking forward to seeing you this August 24-25 in Orlando.

FCSI The Americas Symposium 2021
August 24 & 25
|
|
It's almost time to head to Orlando! We'll rewind to a time when we could share stories, laugh together, and learn from each other -- live and in person!
As you know from previous FCSI The Americas events, we love to throw a party! We had so much fun at SeaWorld in 2017 that we decided to return in 2021—but the experience will be all new! We'll enjoy good food and raise a glass to a better year ahead.
On Wednesday, we'll open with a keynote presentation from Mike Lee, founder of The Future Market. Mike will examine the consumer behaviors and innovations that are shaping the future of food. Other sessions will focus on automation, labor issues, and video marketing, among many others.
See full Symposium details and register here. We can’t wait to see you!
