Quality Reporting Center Updates
|
|
If you missed the Understanding Sepsis webinar in February be sure to visit the Quality Reporting Center to view the archived event.
Hospitals participating in the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) Program receive annual hospital-specific reports (HSRs) for the readmission, mortality, complication, payment, and excess days in acute care (EDAC) measures. The information in these HSRs can help hospitals:
- Understand their performance on the measures before the information is publicly reported on Hospital Compare
- Understand which patients were included in their measure calculations
- Identify areas for quality improvement efforts
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released a new video to assist participants in the Hospital IQR Program with interpreting and understanding their HSRs. Clicking on the picture below will direct you to the CMS HSR Tutorial Video. The video can also be accessed

How Else Can We Help You?
|
|
Measuring quality is necessary for improving healthcare. We understand that when providers are overly consumed with measuring and reporting quality metrics, it is difficult to actually apply results and focus on actions that lead to real improvements.
Why not smart source all of your data abstraction needs so that it is done better, faster, more consistently, and at lower cost and with less risk?
Did you know we provide abstraction services for core measures, non-core measures, registry, OPPE-FPPE, NHSN, peer review, pharmaceutical studies and others? If you have any data abstraction needs please contact us for more information. All you have to do is respond to this email to get started.
