Pivotal recently funded a $243,000 1st lien loan (86% of the the purchase price) for the acquisition of a single family home in Beaumont, CA. The project involves about $20,000 in updating and renovations and our borrower plans to sell it for about $390,000.

Bruce May
V.P. of Loan Originations

Bruce joins our team after eight years of successfully running his own real estate investment company in Southern California in which he wholesaled and flipped homes locally and out-of-state. Bruce became a part-time real estate investor while working as a police lieutenant for a department in San Diego County. He worked in law enforcement for more than 30 years and was a U.S. Marine before that. Bruce enjoys working directly with people, and has a Bachelors degree in Business Management and a Masters degree in Business Administration.
Matthew Lake
Loan Underwriter

Matthew joins our team having graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Economics. His coursework included exposure to finance and accounting. His work experience includes time spent in commercial real estate valuations where he was responsible for analysis, research, and reporting.

Pivotal is a direct lender, loaning our own capital throughout California.
