Directions and Important Information you need to know for The Loara High School Class of 1983 40th Reunion

Thank you to all of you that have purchased tickets to The Loara Class of 1983's 40th Reunion. Thank you also to the Loara Alumni in adjacent classes that have purchased tickets to join us. We are just one week away . . . Dave, Gary and I are putting the finishing touches on what should be a great weekend.

This email will provide you with four critical things . . .

(1) The Link to purchase tickets if you haven't:

https://www.tickettailor.com/events/loarahighschoolclassof1983

(2) The Main Event - Directions, Map & Parking instructions to Gary's Hangar are below. Our event is on a working airport and weather permitting, the Hangar Door will be wide open to the Taxi-way. Please stay away from aircraft and do not touch things you don't own. There will be a check-in-desk at the gate and they will have a list of those that have paid for tickets. If your tickets were purchased by someone else and you are not arriving together, please have that person email Miles (milesacker@gmail.com) so we can add you to the list. Over 110 tickets have been sold as of today.

(3) The Opening Act - Cocktails at Mamma Cozza's Friday, June 9th starting at 6:00 pm. Thank you to classmate Frank Cozza and his family for allowing us to kick off our Reunion Weekend with this informal Gathering in their Ballroom. Note that Fridays are their busy night so we ask that you avoid congregating at in the bar (they need that space for their dinner guests). They will have extra servers in the ballroom for your drink orders. And if you want food that night, please make a dinner reservation in restaurant. We hope to see you there!

(4) Dress Code for all events is Casual . . . "If it makes you feel comfortable" is the answer to anything you are thinking about wearing (you must wear something). If you need more than that . . . shorts or jeans and a shirt are great for boys and the same or a Summer Dress for girls. The current forecast has daytime highs in the upper 70's and nights get down to the low 60's. So bring a sweater if that sounds cold to you.

Sincerely,

Miles & Dave (the two guys that as Juniors would have never run for Senior Class Officer if the school disclosed that winners would also get a lifetime job of putting reunions together). And Gary Stark (cool and generous classmate that has always operated under the radar)

Directions To Gary's Hangar at The Riverside Municipal Airport: Take the 91 Freeway and Exit Adams Street and travel NORTH for 1.5 miles. Turn Left on Arlington Ave for 1/2 mile and turn Right on Airport Drive then Right on Gemende Drive. Look for the Red and Gold Balloons on the gate on your left and park on the street closest to them. NOTE that you must enter off Airport Drive, there is a gate on the East side of Gemende Drive and you cannot enter or exit from that direction if your GPS takes you that way.
