Dedicated Disciples exemplify what it means to be a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. If you know of a Dedicated Disciple being recognized in their community that should be featured, please make a submission here.

Our first Dedicated Disciple is

Rev. Faye Vaughn, who retired after 26 years in ministry, and has accepted a new call as the Pastor of First Christian Church in Frankford, MO.

“I believe the reason why I’m up here (on the pulpit) is because God had the plan for me to be here. Not their plan and not my plan. I’ve followed the function of the Holy Spirit which led me up there.”

The Office of the General Minister and President is pleased to announce the launch of a new program of the Proclamation Project: cohort groups for preachers, starting in early 2024. These groups will provide an opportunity for Disciples preachers to connect with other preachers on a regular basis, support each other, and grow in their own preaching.

There will be three types of cohort groups offered in this cycle, each with a different focus and commitment level. Applications are open now and are due January 20, 2024.
